I am pretty disappointed in this puzzle. Melissa & Doug items are usually the best, but this puzzle is not. The picture is cute and the colors vibrant, but the pieces are very difficult to take apart an put together - even for me! They are all cut very similarly so when my 3 year old puts an incorrect piece in, it's very difficult to get it out. And in doing so we pulled the paper picture off the wooden piece on at least 5 pieces so far (in 2 months!). And the layers of wood are peeling off the back of the pieces, too. I thought maybe it was a dud, but was talking with some other mom friends who also said their M&D jigsaw puzzles are not nearly the same quality as the M&D peg puzzles.

Someone gave one of these Puzzles to my granddaughter for Christmas. I was so impressed by the quality, I searched out more puzzles from the same vendor. Your child will love it. You will love it because it's durable, easy to store and an overall great purchase. It will last for more grandchildren to come!
