This is such a great play-doh activity for any pony loving girl! My daughter is 3 and yes, you have to help push the pony down to 'grow' the hair, but it's fun to play with you child. She loves to cut the hair after it's grown and make the crown and bows to put in her hair. Plus, I got it for [$] at the store!

my little girl loves play doh pinky pie. i had to show her how to make the hair grow a couple times but now we've got it. so much fun for my 4 year old.

LOVE, love, this playdoh set. Have a 3 year old and a 1 1/2 year old and totally disagree w/the earlier comment that it is messy and for older kids (albeit my little one just plucks the hair off but still loves it). Worst case scenerio: you have to load it for your child if they are too little and they may not use some of the molding set-no big deal. My girls and my nieces love it!!!! Soooo much fun and well built. RECOMMEND IT!!!

My children love playing with it but they don't provide an easy way to get at it and clean it out. So you sit there with a toothpick while they play. If you don't mind mixed colors or hardened playdough, this is for you.
