My husband assembled this item and it took him about 2 hours to put it all together. But he's a perfectionist and he took his time and made sure it was well put together . I love this kitchen and so do my kids i love the colors

My daughter and I both love this kitchen set- it's beautiful. It wasn't very fun to assemble with a million pieces but it was worth it. It's the perfect size too.

My daughter decided to use her birthday money to purchase this kitchen set as an upgrade to a plastic toddler set that we had. This was about 9 months ago. To be fair, this kitchen receives daily usage from three girls- 6, 4 and 2.! Initially, two parts were in need of repair when we bought it. A quick call to KidKraft and we had them in two days. However, it was a sign of things to come. The set is made of cheap, pressed boards. Every place there was a hinge except for one eventaully broke. The board simply pulled apart and there was no real way to fix it. KidKraft replaced one board but we had to pull the entire set apart to fix it. It was great for a few months but doesn't stand up to daily use. Not worth the money.

Ok, The item is really cute, retro and the kids were happy with it. Because it's so heavy it's pretty durable. However, the downfall to this item, is the material! Pressed wood is not a good material for a pretend kitchen. It bubbles when wet, which makes it tricky to clean. And, kids being kids WILL try to fill the sink and/or the cups at some point and when spills happen, the wood soaks it up, making it stain. The pressed wood also breaks easier. Yes, I liked it cause its cute but I wouldnt buy it again.

We bought this kitchen for our first grand daughter 7 years ago and she still plays with it with her two younger sisters. When my daughter thought that surely they had enough, she brought it to our home and it is the first thing they go play with. The only thing that has broken is one hand of the clock that #2 grand daughter decided to test the durability. When our grandson visits, he usually ends up at the kitchen at some point. It still looks new except for clock.

I bought this kitchen for my soon to be 3 year old daughter. I received it two days after I ordered it (please keep in mind it shipped from Dallas, TX to San Antonio, TX). One of the knobs for the dishwasher was broken, but I went online and ordered another one (90 day warranty). That literally took 30 seconds to do. So easy! I had it two days later. We were still able to put it together and two days later when the entire knob panel came, I just took a phillips screwdriver and replaced that knob. Now I have extra knobs just in case. It took my husband about an hour to put together. We put it together in our daughter's room and kept her out until it was done so it would be a surprise. Once we got it completed and in place, we called her in and when she saw it she said "A kitchen! It's so cute! It's my kitchen." The reviews were right in that the doors can break off. I caught my daughter climbing on the kitchen and she used the oven door to get up there. I know this because I had to adjust it so it would close properly again. A few days later the door had broken off. I ordered another one, no problem. Those people who say their kids do not play rough and all the doors broke on the kitchen probably did not catch their kids climbing on it. My daughter is not rough and I would have thought the kitchen was junk with a door broken already if I hadn't caught her climbing on it. Oh, and also we didn't put the door catchers on because it seemed unneccesary and too hard for my daughter to open. The doors stay closed without them.

My daughter had this product for the past two years and it still looks great and has no broken parts. She's nine years old now and still plays with it. We are considering having it taken out of her bedroom to an outdoor playhouse. It's very sturdy. It is worth every penny! Great quality. I put it together alone so it took several hours but it was not difficult at all. I wish I could take a photo to share but I'm not so computer savvy to make that happen. Enjoy! Great buy!!

Very cute and unique from other kitchen sets. Thought we'd love it for our daughter but upon assembling it we noticed it was not a quality product. We all know how well particle board holds up, should have returned that moment. All of our yellow hooks were unusable that hung on the 'back splash' so we couldn't hang the pot holders, etc......and after maybe a month and a half, the fridge and stove door are broke off and are NOT fixable/reattachable. Hefty price for a temporary kitchen. I guess we will be going back to the sturdy plastic styles. Sorry will NEVER buy Kid Kraft again.....

We bought this for my daughter 3 years ago, for her 3rd birthday. This kitchen is still going strong after 3 years of heavy play by a minimum of three kids! This toy has turned out to be one of the best I've ever invested in for my kids. Best of all, there are no batteries to replace!!
