    The wooden base/frame is sturdy and nice; however, the marble colors are extremely difficult is discern between the others... making it very difficult to play. The four of us in our family had to keep standing up and sitting down to look at the marbles in different light to see if they were green, blue, or red. I'm glad we have the set; but if I knew this ahead of time, I probably wouldn't have bought it.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
