This makes realistic noises on opening and moving. The button springs the lightsaber out quickly, so stand back.

The handle is larger than I expected, and a bit heavy. Sometimes the pieces stick when trying to retract, the trick is to push the biggest piece down first with a slight twist.

My 8-year-old is happy.

i use it to make movies, then i add in the real lightsaber animations, also i added it in my lightsaber display collection.

We got this as a birthday gift for my son and he absolutely loves it! His little friend brought his over and they had so much fun playing together. It took him a little time to get the hang of the spring loader but once he got it he was happy. They great thing is if he is fight and applies pressure to the point in easily slides back in. Great toy!

My Kids have these light sabres and love them. They spring out and make the sabre sound. The light is not super bright but they are good quality and fun!

My kids have this and we have given two away to cousins as gifts. They are all boys and love their "real" light saber. To activate you press the button and the light saber projects out about 2.25 feet plus another foot for the handle. It makes a constant "electricity sound" when not swinging and a "woosh" sound when swinging. It also make a collapse sound when putting away. The sounds resemble a the movie effects. To turn off or put away, just shove and collapse the saber back into the handle. It will shut itself off if not being used after 30 sec. We use it for actual play saber duals and it holds up well. Much heavier and thicker to grip than the plastic quiet versions.

CONS: If you are not holding it the right direction when you press then instant project button, you will get a jab in the tummy (or face)

PRO: It has sound FX from the movie and to the kids...sounds real. It looks real and its heavy so it probably feels real.

My four-year old loves this toy. The lightsaber helps him get into character when he wants to pretend to be Luke Skywalker or Han Solo. He gets such a serious expression on his face when he plays with it. It makes realistic sounds just like the movie. The only concern I had it that it extends out quickly when he pushes the button. No mishaps as of yet. It is a really cool toy :)

the product is nice and all but not the best. the problem about is when you press the button to let it release it will not only sometimes it does. the lighting on the saber stutters and turns off by itself and if you hit it to hard it turns off.I have the mace windu version of this saber as it is not listed on here i used this saber as a substitute.

My son loves the noise it makes. Lots of fun. Easily stored as it collapses into itself. Still, it can be dangerous if child is not old enough to use it properly.

Whats great about it is that it comes out by its self and it goes in all the way. What I dont like about it is that its not that bright. Even at night with all the lights off. But it is alot of fun.
