There is nothing more inconvenient than having to find a bathroom during a camping trip, vacation or road trip for the little one. Look no further, the On the Go Potty by Kalencom is right there whenever baby needs to go. Simply place a self absorbing disposable liner, prop up the legs and the On the Go Potty is ready for use! When baby is done, wrap up and throw away the liner, fold in the legs and store the potty into the carry bag. The travel size potty has little mess to clean up so you can take it anywhere. Additional Potty Liners are sold separately.

Germaphobe checking in. My son was potty trained in 3 days but was confused because he would wear diapers when we were out and about because of how terrible public bathrooms can be. This little thing was the BEST [$] I've spent. It's nice and small enough where I can throw it in the stroller carriage, the diaper bag, or carry it in its own carrying case and noone knows it's a potty! Plus I also have a 1 year old and for the time it would take to take both boys out of their car seats, find a restroom, sanitize the toilet, hold him up while keeping my 19 month old in eyesight, it would be a grueling process. I can just pull over, put my son on the potty on the side of the car, and continue on without ever having to take my other child out of his seat. It's helpful to put a new bag on it to prep for the next use and save time when the little one is doing the potty dance. Those little bladders don't hold for long!Boy moms: Before I got it I was concerned that my son would pee outside of it because there isn't much of a splash guard. I found that sitting him down with his knees up and legs closed or lean forward slightly helped to solve that problem. That helps his boy parts drop down far enough that he wouldn't miss. A couple of times I've had to help him point it down while peeing. This minor inconvenience/extra step is very much so worth it if it means I don't have to take my child into a filthy and unsanitary public restroom which would send my anxiety levels through the roof!! I've read some negative reviews about the stability of this product. My son is 3 years old and 37 pounds and we've had NO problem with stability. It's actually pretty stable for its size. Perhaps you aren't locking the legs properly? You have to unfold the legs, push them upwards towards the rim until you hear a click. You can also unfold the legs, place the potty down upright, and apply firm pressure to the sides of the rim just above the legs, You should hear or feel the click.

We have tried 4 products total in our quest for potty training our boy. This potty seat is not good for boys because the "pee catcher" in the front is not high enough for boys. We found 2 Baby Bjorn products to be much more helpful when potty training a boy toddler. Depending on which your little man prefers, either the training seat or training chair made by Baby Bjorn is much better for little boys.

Comments about Kalencom Corporation Potette Plus 2-in-1 On-The-Go Travel Potty & Trainer Seat - Blue:
This is one of my best purchases yet! When it was time to potty train my son I was dreading public restrooms. But thanks to this, its a breeze. I carry mine in a plastic bag and throw it in the diaper bag. When we are out and about, it opens up in seconds, my son feels safe on it and I worry less about the germs. When we get home I sanitize it and its ready for next time.I also use it when we are visting friends, relatives and playdates. It doesnt have a high splashguard for a boy but its fine, afterall its made to be smaller. I just take extra precaution and it hasnt been a problem. I love, love, love it !!!

Awesome invention that has been a life saver so many times. i have a 3 1/2 year old that is potty trained but does not like to use public washrooms for fear that she may fall into the toilet or the loud noise of flushing and blow drying hands. She will rather HOLD it until she can use. I have this in the vehicle and have used it several times in cases like this!!!!
Take this everywhere!

We are always on the go and this potty goes with us everywhere! It takes very little space in the stroller basket and is so easy to set up! When my littlest needs to go there is practically no wait (exactly what a potty-training little needs)! He loves aiming for "Mr. Turtle!"
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Not good for boy as potty topper
from West Virginia
This product seems like a good idea. However it did not work out for my 3 yr old son. When used as a potty topper, the pee just ricocheted off of the plastic and sprayed everywhere. If you are using it as a standing potty I belive it would work well. But I purchased it soley to use as a travel potty topper so I will be returning it. It appears to be very well made amd folds up to a nice small size.

This is actually the third time I have purchased this potty seat, we love it that much!! We have one we keep in our home, one in the car for on the go, and I purchased this one for my nephew who is just starting potty training. We have used it outside of our home hundreds of times! It folds up easy for storage and use! I would recommend this product to anyone!
Still use this and my daughter is 6 yrs!
Absolutley love this! i have had mine since my daughter was around 17 months and she is 6 years old now and I still use it for emergency cases where there is no bathroom!! I would recommend this to every parent!
Wish I knew about it sooner

I love it!!!!! Wish we would of bought it sooner. I bought this for my three year old son for when we are away from home. Went to Sea World and had no accidents .I would strongly recommend buying the reusable liner. I don't care for the bags to much. We have 4 other potty chairs and my two children will only use this at home and away. My 16 month old daughter is using it.LOL she tries to knock her brother off of it. Others said not for a boy. I just tell my boy to hold it down and no problem. It is low to the ground but my children have no issue with it,that is why it's portable. It is stable and it does not slip. Great product I do not like public toilets for my children.

Fabulous product!! I love that it folds up and fits in a diaper bag. It fits one every toilet, I just take sanitizing wipes and wipe it down. It's so easy that my 3 year old can fold it and unfold it.

Great for elimination communication!
By Yo Mama
from Saratoga, NY
I've been doing elimination communication with my six month old son. He was great about using his Baby Bjorn potty, but I couldn't get him to use the toilet and none of the seats I found made it small enough for such a little guy. The Potette looked smaller than most, though, so I thought I'd try it. It's a perfect fit, now my little fellow is comfortable enough to go on a regular toilet. Yay!
