Okay, so before I purchase most toys, I read the reviews. This toy had terrible reviews. What a big dissapointment because my son really wanted this. So, we passed on this set and I looked and looked for something similar. To my dissapointment, there were not a lot of airport sets on the market for younger children. So, when my son asked again for this for Christmas from his Aunt and Uncle, I decided to take a chance on it, knowing I may be returning it. Wow, I can't begin to tell you how much my 4 year old loves this airport! Since I put it together, he has spent endless hours playing with it. Nothing on our set has broken or fallen apart, even with his destructive 2 year old brother around! I would agree with the other reviewers that the quality of the plastic could be better but it's fine. It's was easy to assemble, but time consuming, especially with all the stickers that needed to be applied. It turned out great! As for the cardboard play mat .......... I covered it with clear contact paper and adhered it to a big double thick poster board. Now it can withstand hours and hours of play and hopefully will last a long time. Another drawback was that it only comes with 1 "person" who kinda resembles a plastic army guy? Definately would be nice to have some more realistic people. We are using our people from his geotrax and imaginext sets. Overall, I really am happy with this set and so is my son! I'm so glad we finally purchased it!

We have the Airport and the Garage. My son loves it. It took some time to assemble, but as of now it is his favorite toy. Buy some superglue with it though!

      This product is junk, it fell apart after one use. We keep putting back together, but it doesn't work properly. The crank up feature keeps coming apart and won't stay together or work at all.

      Absolutely terrible toy. Very poor quality. Vehicles broke and fell apart. Tower elevator never worked properly. Broke within 5 days of building. Have pieced together countless time and so looking forward to throwing it in the trash on trash day.

        I read the reviews on this toy and i had many doubts but my 5 year old daughter wanted it so bad so i decided to get it for Christmas and it was a good decision. My baby is having tons of fun its not hard to assemble and it does not break apart. I fully recommended

                    We were given the Fast Lane Airport and now the Fire/Police Station. My oldest is 3 1/2 and loves playing with the Fire Station; however, whenever he or I touch it, it falls apart. The pieces break really easily and are cheaply made. Don't buy this product!!!

                    I'll have to go with the majority here. This toy is made out of cheap plastic and cardboard, it breaks easily and comes apart easily. My 3 year old got it for his birthday and he loves it but I know this toy won't last long. The vehicles that come with it are really bad quality, the airplane front broke the first and the elevator gets stock all the time but at least matchbox and hot wheels cars fit in it. Disney cars are to big for it. I would never recommend or get this for a kid older than 4, and definitely not pay more than $20 for this and $20 is still a lot.

                          This is still my three year old son's favorite toy, after 8 months of use. He loves putting all his matchbox cars on the ramps and on the elevator. The plastic seems a little flimsy/cheap, especially the smaller pieces, but the main structure has held up just fine. (You need to push down firmly when snapping the pieces together, or else it fall apart easily). Bottom line: My son loves it and uses it a lot, it was definitely worth the price.

                            My son purchased this with gift cards, much to my disappointment since we already purchased a FastLane item before that had been so poorly constructed that we took it back after the first day. I spent at least an hour and a half assembling this airport. The stickers were a nightmare to put on the building. The diagram is small and hard to decode and the box shows the stickers in different locations than the diagram. On step 1 of construction, I already found I was given two duplicate pieces (one was given in place of another part that I needed). So, it's now missing a part. I continued to construct it- figuring that I'll deal with getting that piece at Toys R Us tomorrow. I got all the way through the directions and have two pieces left, which I can't find in the directions anywhere, but they look kind of important since they have little rollers on them. The elevator is TERRIBLE. The cars get stuck at all levels of it. I love how the above video shows the car getting to the top of the elevator and just rolling out and down the ramp. Good luck with that when playing with the real airport. You have to pry the cars out of the elevator. The front of the airplane won't stay on the airplane very well. All in all this is not at ALL worth the [$]. $20 might even be a stretch. I'm sure Fast Lane is making a huge profit on selling this cheap plastic toy for so much. I wish Matchbox would come up with a toy this cute. It would be worth it to spend more and have it last. On the positive side, my son LOVES this toy - even though I have to keep fixing it for him. He went to bed so excited that he could get up and play more with it tomorrow. I'm secretly hoping it breaks soon so that I can return it and he can purchase something with his money that will endure a four year old's play.

                              My son got this for his birthday on April 21, this morning he asked me to throw it away. (He is 6.) It is poorly constructed, made of cheap materials and will not only not stay together, but will not work as instructed. The airplane that came with it broke the very first day. The cars that come with it are also very cheap. Would NEVER pay the price for this toy!!
