My six year old is Bindi-Obsessed. She is all about caring for animals. I thought this would be a great interactive pet for her to "doctor" and care for. The light up boo-boo is sorta cute, but the doctor items are lame. For the price, it should've came with a doctor bag - even a cheap one! Pieces get misplaced easily. The bear doesn't vary much in noise and my children lose interest in it quickly.

Great pretend play idea. Initial voice explaining the toy is nice at 1st, but it cannot be shut down. The audio eventually over-stimulates some children. It provides tender moments for the family.

-Just the right size for a 3 year old to hold and play.

Cons: Makes moaning and scary sounds.

My 3 year old played for 5 minutes but didn't like it because the noises that comes from the polar bear scared her.

This product is great. Barbie's voice is only on the demo mode. My little girl has played with this alot and thinks it is cute when he starts snoring and is ready for a nap.

Previously, Barbie had a Hug 'n Heal vet set with dogs. These came with a carrying case that all of the pieces and dog fit into. It is easy to store and fun to play with. I ordered this for my niece as an alternative, because I don't think they make the Hug 'n Heal anymore. I didn't pay enough attention when I ordered it online, and didn't realize until seeing one in the store that it didn't come with a carrying case. There's no stethoscope, which is disappointing. The dog with the Hug 'n Heal kit made only dog noises, and were tied to location. (Putting a bottle or bone by the mouth elicits a eating noise, the stethoscope by the heart makes a heartbeat, etc.) These animals have Barbie talking when pressed, which I found really annoying and less fun for imaginative play.
