The Summer Infant Three-Stage Reward Potty Trainer and Step Stool helps your child gain confidence and learn proper etiquette during his or her potty training years. The built-in lid teaches your child to put the seat down when he or she is finished, and a built-in toilet tissue dispenser rests conveniently at the side to help stop messes from happening. The wipe dispenser located at the back of the seat provides a handy way to keep messes small. Built-in handles on the sides of the seat give your child stability and confidence during his or her training years. The potty trainer then turns into a step stool to keep the training process going once the seat is no longer needed. Reward stickers are included so that your child will have incentive to do his or her best during the potty training years.

I bought this potty when my daughter turned one in prep for walking time to start potty training (ambitious, i know). Despite all the other reviews that the potty leaks, I bought it anyway and have had NO leaking issues. If you place your child on the seat correctly, sitting so her bottom is near the back, you will have no messy clean up. We have not had one issue with potty going below the designated bowl. She loves her potty and has been more than willing to sit on it to go. We didn't use the toilet paper part until recently (she's now 18 months) because she started to express an interest in wiping herself. I have a container of "green works cleaning wipes" in the bathroom to disinfect the potty after each use and I put a compact container of wipes in the back lid portion of the potty if she wants to use them for #2 potty. I have a basket of books by her potty for her to read if she wants. So far potty training has been a wonderful experience! What I really love about the potty is that it looks like a big toilet so the connection between our potties were similar. We only have one bathroom and needed something compact and this has worked great. It's super easy to clean and the best part is that my daughter loves using it.

I was really excited to get this potty for my 2 yr old. It's very cute and I liked the idea of practicing good hygine by having the toilet paper and wet wipes all part of the potty. The toilet paper thing ended up being a bad plan because from where it's placed it's hard for a 2 year old to get the toilet paper off and so she just keeps pulling it until she has a whole roll on a heap on the floor. So fine, we don't use that part. The potty is still not good. The pee leaks under the seat and goes into the bottom of the potty, not all ends up in the bucket. So then you have to snap off the bottom part of the potty which is very hard to do and you can't just simply wipe it out because of all the grooves and area's that pee gets into you have to wash it out. The step stool part of the potty is not good either, the lid is too flimsy making it unstable and unsafe for kids to stand on. Overall this is a horrible potty. Very cute but that's it!! Don't waste your money unless you plan on spending all your time cleaning it and I don't have that kind of time.

I purchased this product to potty train my 18 month grand daughter as the other potties she thought were toys. She saw this potty and immediately checked it out. A few days passed and she went to the bathroom with me, she wanted on her potty. So I got her ready and she sat down. Of course, she didn't do anything, but at least we are on the right track. She stood up and waved bye bye to what she thought was in the potty. The only thing so far that I don't like about it is the bottom is hard to get off for using the stool. The other thing is the holder for the moist wipes would be great if they held the containers from Cottonelle. Other than that its a great potty. Happy Pottying.

    I love the chair it's very safe. But my little ones seems to sit straight down and usually pees on the seat and not in the hole. The padding keeps the 18 month old bottom from seating all the way back so we have to move her once she sits.

    I got this potty for my daughter about 2 years ago. It works great, comfortable, and easy to clean. I love it. However, my daughter is becoming to large for it, but still to small for an adult toilet (She turned 4 this week). When she pees, it spills over the front, even though she's sitting all the way back. It would still be a perfect potty if only the opening was an inch or two longer.

      This is a super cute toilet but the one thing that was awful was that somehow the pee kept leaking into the bottom of the base of the toilet and it would smell and get all nasty. Do not buy this product

        We love this potty seat! I can't believe there are so many bad reviews....But, I guess every child is different & this potty seat works great for our little girl. I love that we are able to teach her good manners by shutting the lid, using the toilet paper (which is attached to the seat) & cleaning up messes with the wipes. I would definitely recommend it! We tried another "character" potty seat & that was just a waste of money...My daughter thought it was a toy instead of a potty seat, which I guess I can see now that maybe it's confusing for a little one to grasp the concept when they see their favorite charachter on it & just want to play with it instead.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          My son loves this potty - made it easy to transition from training on his own personal potty to big boy potty! Fairly easy to keep clean and when I had trouble with the cushion seat, the company was wonderful/helpful and sent us a new one at no charge (product was still under warranty). Highly recommend this potty for everyone!

                Everytime my daughter pees in this potty the pee leaks through to the bottom compartment of the potty and if she doesn't pee straight down into the bowl (which, ladies, you know sometimes it just does not go in a straight flow downwards) it'll go on the seat and out of the potty. It's hard to open the potty from the middle to clean the under compartment, so I get very frustrated. The wipe holder doesn't seal so ur wipes will dry out. The toilet paper holder is placed basically behind ur kid so they'll move around to get to it which results in pee everywhere. UGH. I never do reviews, but had to share this with u guys. I don't understand how others gave it a 5.

                Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                        Initially I thought this was nice and it worked well, but didn't realize how great it really was until we bought a different seat for grandma. What I love about this is that when you take it apart and put it on the toilet, it's sturdy enough that my daughter can climb up onto it without it going sliding off like the smaller seat insert we bought. (Someone mentioned it didn't fit well on the toilet - you have to lift the seat and then put it on and then it should fit nicely.) I am buying a second one of these today for grandma's house.
