My two children (2 and 1) love this table. They play with it everyday and have done so for the past 10 months. I would tell anyone to get this table. It does need to be put together at least once a week (when one piece comes apart they think it is time to destroy the train) but all the parts have held up nicely. I have walked in and found them both on top and it has not fallen in like others have had happen. Great product!

We just bought this for our son's third birthday present. He LOVES IT and hasn't stopped playing with it!I can not believe this train set came w/ so many pieces for such a little price. We paid [$] for it at TRU. The detail on the pieces is just as good as the detail on the T (you know who) pieces. The magnets b/n the trains, trucks, etc. are all very strong and hold up to repeated "train wrecks" and young prek rough play (knocking the tracks over, being rolled off the table edge, etc.). The little crane actually rolls up/down, doesn't fall down when it's rolled up and you let go of the knob, and has a strong magnet on it that picks up other items that go on the back of the train cars/semi truck trailer.The two drawers are nice and deep and hold the track and small pieces (cars, people, etc.). They do not hold the buildings though (not big enough for all those!).This set also has some battery operated sounds (mountain, etc.). That adds extra fun for my son.There are only two cons to this item: it took my dh @ 2.5 hours to put the entire thing together (you have to use a screwdriver, not a drill, and there are a LOT of pieces!), and the table is large (which could be a problem in a smaller house). The roundhouse is included in this set, and it takes a little bit of time to get that put together first. MAKE SURE you put the little houses on the top FIRST before you do anything else! You can put in the dowel rods like this to make it easier - center (screw in from both sides), then sides (screw in halfway), then one side set of dowels and screw the whole thing down on that side, then the other side set of dowels. If you try to make all the dowels stand up in there at once, they will fall out as you're tightening up the screws and it's really frustrating.Make sure if you have an extremely grabby toddler/impatient prek child that you put this together at night once they've gone to bed (or do as we did and have one parent take the little one outside to play while the other works hard to put this together). DO NOT wait until Christmas morning to put this together thinking it will take you all of ten minutes - just setting up the track alone (so that all the pieces fit and work together) took dh 45 minutes!!!This is a fantastic item, has a great design (screw heads are all sunk so no scratches from those), is a wonderful value for the money paid, and holds up well to my son's rough play with it.YOU NEED FIVE AAA BATTERIES!!!!!! (we didn't realize this and Gramma had to run some over during assembly!)

We bought this for our son's second birthday - this set is an excellent value - it includes many great pieces such as the bridge, mountain, tunnel, and roundhouse. Assembly was the worst part, I agree with other reviews that the instructions could be a little more detailed, but overall this is a great train table, sturdy and I like that it includes drawers for storage. This was the hit of my son's birthday party with all of the kids and my son absolutely loves it. Don't waste your money on a more expensive table when this set includes so much!

My parents bought this for my son's 3rd birthday, he is crazy about trains. My mom and i put the table together, all the parts were there but the directions were a little confusing. There were only pictures not words. However, the top part was very easy and i was able to put it together fast. He likes to play with his train table and gets excited with the noices. This table is a very good product for the price. It is nice having pne train table with everything on it verse all these tracks on the floor. I highly recommend it to others.

I bought this product in store. The train table is very sturdy and my son loves it. I haven't had to rebuild or glue it together like others have. It does help if you understand how to build things when you buy this table. The only problem I have had is that it did not come with all the bolts or the allen wrench. I called to get these items and the woman who was rude said the Allen wrench was not needed even though the bolts are hex and it is to be included with the product. I received my bolts after a few days and finished the table. On a negative note I never did receive the allen wrench.

I got this for my 2 year old for his birthday and he loves it. I looked at a lot of different options and this one is the best price. I was worried about the quality because the price was so much lower than other similar items, but the quality is outstanding. His Thomas trains work very well on it, too. A great purchase, and I highly recommend it.

This was the best gift! My son is two and had gotten a train for his birthday but we didn't have a table to put it on. Every table we looked at was so expensive. My mother found this table and had it shipped to us. This is the best gift ever! It's better than the other tables we saw for $400+. It has sounds and plenty of track that fits snuggly so the two year old can't disassemble it so easily. The storage drawers are great, plenty of space. Nice scenery with plenty of extras like a magnetic crane,trees,people and extra cars. I wish we had seen this before we bought the other train set, but now he has plenty to play with. Thanks grandma! We love it!
