Looks like a heavy weight microscope in the package. Made entirley of plastic, EVEN THE SLIDES WHERE YOU APPLY THE SPECIMIN!!!! Microscopes have to be made from heavy metal to keep steady on high zoom. When you zoom in (even at the lowest zoom) the specimen shakes even when you put your eye on the eyepiece!!!! Instructions don't talk about using all the equipment (just the scope). The light is not bright enough to penetrate leaf samples or snake scales. Save your money and get a real microsope!!!!!

The lens must be a piece of cheap plastic full of flaws, lines, spots etc., with no way to get to it to attempt to clean it - but it probably doesn't matter because I don't think it would help one iota.

I bought this microscope as a Christmas present for my son. As soon as we turned it on, it did not work. We put the different slides in, and you can only see the same thing. It does not work at all and was a total waste of money. The manufacturer has to know this when they package all of the slides and different things to look at. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOU WILL BE DISAPOINTED!

Bought this product for my eight year old son so that he could continue to feed his scientific desire. The light simply does not work the smirk of a glow is not enough to view any of the slides let alone anything else. I found nothing great about this product it was a waste of my time and money. I think the quality of this item is beneath poor and I am taking it back, thumbs down EDU...

Bought this for our 8 year old twins for Christmas. We fussed with it to make it work for hours. The light was very low and kept buying batteries. Overall it takes too much time and adjustment. . should not be on the market. dissapointed
