My 4 year old son and my 6 year old daughter both love the scary fish! But, they were (and I was as well) very disappointed that the fish doesn't glow in the dark. It seemed misleading from the pictures on the box. I even had to do some searching on the internet to find out if the eyes could come off to reveal a place for batteries. We found out that apparently it doesn't.

My son was upset about the boat not floating in the tub....but he still plays with it anyway.

He does love the little guy that comes with the playset. But, the "cool scary fish" is his favorite. And, I like it because it is so realistic.

My son loves the anglerfish, but it is kinda decieving as it looks like the head opens to allow for batteries so the eyes and bait glows, but apparently it does not. It is very realistic and is not for the faint at heart, but it is a true fish that is very unique.

It's beyond wonderful. My family and I already loved the deep sea angler, so when we saw this, we were beyond thrilled. You can press the top fin and the jaws move. My kids keep asking me if they can have a turn, but I hate having to share it!!! :-) My son put some tape over the holes in the boat and it floats fine.

My son saw the Angler Fish in Finding Nemo, and wanted one ever since. He is 3 years old and loves it. Yes it is scary but that is why we got it. He liked the little diver and the diver's helmet and other tools. My kid isn't big on playing with toys, so of course it only lasts so long, but I am still happy with my purchase. Only drawback is no glow in the dark and the fish's mouth doesn't close all the way.

The boat does not float, there are holes on the underside. So, that part of the toy is useless. The fish? Why? Why is it so scary? Why is it half the size of the boat? The man is ok, I guess. We got this as a gift and the fish quickly was hidden away.

My son was doing a research on anglerfish and we were so excited to find an anglerfish toy for his show and tell. The fish is realistic and well made. The boat and diver is a nice addition but less interesting. I wish the eyes and lure of the fish could glow in the dark like the real angler.
