My 9 and 10 year old daughters had hours of fun with this product. It came with everything you needed to get started. I only wish it came with extra paper, because once we were out, they stopped playing with it.

Gave this to my 7yr old daughter and she loves it. A bit hard to focus the designs on the sketch pad till she got the hang of it, she can do it herself. Has already gone through most of the pad. Just becareful opening and closing the unit it is made of plastic and sounds like it will snap. I would still recommend it.

I got this for my 13th birthday and it is very fun to use. At first I started reading all the comments just to make sure it was a good product before I even opened it. It sounded pretty awesome so I went ahead and opened it... When I first opened the projector it made notch noises when you lifted it. But it doesnt make an other noise other than when you close it and thats not that big of a deal. Over all Id say its really fun to use and...well...fricken awesome!

We gifted this to our 8 year old daughter for Christmas. She and her sister (11) enjoy creating sketches and naming their creations. The projector was a little difficult to open, and getting the image to scale on the model takes practice. Overall, I find this gift useful, but overpriced.

This product was absolutely amazing! I love it so much! It was bought originally for my 11 year old sister, but I'm three years older, and probably enjoy it more than she does!I really enjoy designing clothes, and it's something I wish to do as a career, and this really helped me a bit; practice for real sketching. The only problem is that I can't find any extra sketch pads, so I'm not too sure what I will do when I run out...Hopefully someone will make some! Anyway, excellent product.

I bought this for my daughter and although SHE loves it, I think it could be better. She loves to design but needs help tracing...could they have made the focus any less helpful? It does not focus well at all and you get an idea of where everything needs to be and you have to kindof guess and fudge it. Not helpful. Also the adjustment is very stiff when moving the actual projected image up and down and it sounds like the toy is breaking everytime you move it. Scary! My daughter is 6 and loves designing the clothes. Another complaint is that there are no replacement pads for the sketch books. We will make more at [...] or something, but they missed out on $$ with that oversight. Also, replacement bulbs for the projector? Anyone? I rate this toy high for the fact that child likes it but only give it a 3 based on value. In this day and age, is it really that tough to make a QUALITY toy so the parent feels they got something that will last after they spent the [$] on it??

I bought this for my daughter yesterday. We could not put it down. My 9yr old daughter & I took turns and just couldn't get enough of it. My 8yr old son even wanted to get involved & design an outfit. We showcased our work to Dad (my husband)the critic who gave his honest opinion of our work.
This was just to much fun!
