    We purchased this stroller because it looked better made then the umbrella strollers. We have gone through two umbrellas in the past year. This one is stronger and the toddler can't sit in it so it just may last a long time. The toddler loves it and my nine year old asked for one if her own.

    not a sturdy product

    My daughter actually picked this stroller two times (not with me!) with her grandmother and i hate to say, but it broke pretty quickly. the first time she used to put lots of dolls and some toys in the basket, which is fairly large, but only connects in the middle. it snapped off pretty quickly. the second time we were more careful to only put a doll in the stroller and the piece that connects the handlebars cracked right away, i guess from her leaning down on it as she pushed. it is not well constructed and not good for a stroller that will be played with daily.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
