Overall this seat has been awesome. I feel like my daughter is very protected. I like the pads on the shoulder straps, they keep the straps from digging into her neck. The infant insert keeps them nice and snug. The only comments I would have are on the sun shade and the handle. The sun shade is pretty short compared to others I have seen, it would be nice if it was a bit longer. The handle is a bit uncomfortable to carry on my arm, would be good with slightly more padding. It works great with the stroller system. Having a base in each car makes it very easy to use.

We went into the store looking at a few top-rated car seats, and honestly I didn't think we would be purchasing this one b/c of the cost. But, I am so glad we did! The base is SO EASY to switch between cars that we didn't need to purchase a second one, which made this seat cheaper than the other budget ones! Plus, consumer reports rates it top-notch. It's easy to install properly, the seat simply clicks in and out of the base, and fits in our Corolla, which is small. We have also used it without the base, which is easy to do. Our daughter is now 11 months old, 20 lbs, and she still fits! Great carseat! -- This is also one of the few hospital approved carseats for preemies, which we un-expectedly ended up having. Good thing we got it!

As first time parents, we read up a lot about infant car seats before registering for one. What sold us initially on this model was the KeyFit Caddy Stroller that could be purchased with it, so that it could easily convert from a car seat to a stroller. We have loved this product! My husband and I both have bases in our vehicles, the seat is easy to pop in and out, and to adjust. We love the Caddy Stroller, too, as the seat pops right in and out of it, as well. It has been easy, safe, and a wonderful first car seat for our son. He is now almost 6 months old, and sadly we are going to have to start looking for a convertible seat soon, as he is starting to get too long for this seat - that makes me sad because I am going to miss the ease and convenience of this one!

This is a great carseat and it was rated #1 for safety, which is the reason why I purchased it for my daughter. It's easy to take in and out of the base. Great support.

You can't put this carseat on shopping carts, but it's not recommended to. They did that on purpose so you don't place it there for safety reasons.
Reason I gave it a 4 star is because it is a little heavy for me and the canopy does not cover well. I would use a blanket to get the sun out of my babies eyes. I used this car seat for 13 months then I transitioned to the Britax because my baby was getting to tall for the carseat. However, you can use it up until 30 lbs.

We love this car seat. I use it practically everyday to drop my baby to day care and pick up.

The color is vibrant and i always get compliments.

I love chicco product and would recommned it.

We also purchased a key fit caddy and that works wonders and lovely for errands instead of the bulky travel system.

We bought this for our second child, after being disappointed with the bulkiness of our first child's baby seat. We wanted lighter, but didn't want to sacrifice sturdiness or safety. This seat has proven better for that and all other ways! Love how easy it is to just click in and out. It's stylish, and very resistant to staining. The bases are much easier to pop in and out, too, which is so welcome after having one that was such a chore in this regard. Our baby has never fussed in it, and usually will fall asleep, so we can only assume that he finds it comfortable. The only 'problem' might be one that I've seen others mentioning, too, is that our boy sweats in it. However, with our first child's seat, our baby wasn't comfortable or warm, so we used a baby seat blanket, which is inconvenient and, by some reports, unsafe. So, now we just use a window shade, A/C, and don't leave it in the car on warm days. Seems to work just fine.

We used this car seat on a daily basis as our sons primary car seat and with a snap and go stroller. We recently just had a car accident and this car seat kept our son safe and injury free. The padding around the head kept his head from being thrown around while the car spun. The seat is very strudy which leads to its only draw back, that its a bit heavier then some other car seats. (not much really) But after having the accident the weight of it seems like a silly thing to worry about. It did its job and kept our baby safe. I am going to buy this car seat again and would whole heartly recommend it to anyone.

I loved the look of this seat compared to others and was pleased to find out that I loved the functionality of it just the same. It is SO easy to install and getting the seat in/out of the car is just as easy. Some people think the carseat is heavy, but I don't think it's any heavier than other seats. The straps and buckles are easy to do. My son never had the 'sweating' problems that some people have said. My biggest complaint is that the sunshade isn't very big!
