This was soo easy to put in our Jeeps! Everyone comments on how easy our car seat clicks in and out of it. Definately is nice to have one for each vehicle although it would be easy enough to transport if you just had one.

I did a lot of research and was determined to find the safest infant car seat on the market. A friend of ours gave us the Graco infant car seat and it was difficult to install and did not seem nearly as sturdy. The chicco base is super simple in ANY CAR. My daughter seems happy in it and I am very pleased with our purchase.

Love how easy it is to move it from car to car! It's really secure. will not move once in-place. A must have for all!!

This base is easy to install, and very handy if you have to switch your carseat between cars often. However it is expensive, which is the only drawback.

The base fit easily and perfectly level without any fiddling or adjustment. Although fitting the base was intuitive, the apparent lack of an installation instruction sheet was frustrating. Detailed instructions for fitting the base were included with the car seat, but anyone buying only the base will think he is out of luck until he downloads the chair instruction sheet from the manufacturer's website, or discovers an impossible-to-open secret-looking storage compartment along the bottom edge of the base (ours is still tucked in there, since the plastic flap that hides what appears to be the instruction sheet will not open without the potential for cracking and splitting apart). The car seat fits the base perfectly and snaps in and out easily. The seat itself, while advertised as suitable of babies up to 30lb is way undersized and our 17lb grandson can barely fit. The seat is perhaps capacious enough for shorter infants up to 30lb, but is totally limited in usefulness for taller babies. If your baby is tall, this seat will not serve you for more than four months. This is a product design shortcoming that creates an unnecessarily expensive burden for the consumer.

The first thing I did when I found out I was pregnant was start researching baby stuff. Chicco had such amazing safety ratings..it was a no brainer that was the way to go! We bought the extra base to have one in my car and one in my husband's car (a Rav4 and a Scion TC). It was ridiculously easy to install (although we still let the certified firefighters do it) and isn't going anywhere with the anchors! Although pricey, I'd buy this (and other Chicco products) all over again!
