As I've read in other reviews, it is difficult to actually scoop sand. BUT my kids love it, they fight over it. They love to play "construction worker" and help each other rake the sand to make it easier to scoop. I would buy it again. It was a great 3rd birthday present!

Purchased this product for my son for Christmas, he was over the moon and play with it all day. However the sand gets stuck in the buttons and moving joints of the digger and with in 1week thing became stuck. I have had no joy with response for the manufacturer to-date.

My son LOVES this toy! He rides it around the house at every chance he gets. All the different little buttons make different sounds, and they're all a lot of fun. The only thing I'd change about it is that the front digger arm doesn't really extend very far, but other than that, this toy is top notch!

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my two year old nephew. He couldn't wait to open it and take it for a ride. He absolutely loved it and rode it around my house for hours! It is well made, sturdy and, of course, makes several different sounds. It is reasonably priced and based on my nephew's reaction it was worth every penny! I am sure he will get a lot of use out of this toy indoors and out.

My mother got this for my son's first birthday (Ugh, another toy he can't quite use yet!). I must say, if you get this and expect it to actually dig, then would you actually expect a barbie brush to work in your own hair?!?! It's a freaking toy! It's supposed to inspire imagination; remember what that is?
My son loves it, even though his legs aren't yet long enough to reach the ground on both sides at once. He can almost scoot around. He likes seeing the scoop (which is about 30% smaller than the scoop in the picture) go up and down. I wish he wouldn't hide his sippy cups in the seat, but that's my problem, not the toy's. Cute noises, wish the stickers were actually painted on and not stickers; I hope my 4 & 5 year old daughters don't peel them off. But, my son likes it and that's what counts. Oh! Don't let your kids stand on things that are not meant to be stood on! Use common sense people or don't reproduce!
