Like I tell my kids, READ, READ, READ. If you read the product description, you will find a very clear statement right away: 3.5 inches. Enough said.

For our purposes, these were perfect. The shorter pencils fit a youngster's hand better, and the quality was just like the traditional color pencils. Overall, we were very satisfied.

I did not realize that these colored pencils would be so short when I ordered them. My main reason for purchasing more colored pencils for my son was because the ones that he already have are short and worn. I had to go out to another store and purchase the long Crayola color pencils right after receiving the short Crayola colored pencils from Toys R' Us. I could have saved money had the pencils been described better online at Toys R'Us

Please be aware that these are VERY SHORT colored pencils, not the traditional ones. These are so small that one sharpening renders them nearly unusable for adult hands. I am very disappointed.
