This mini mattress is not firm at all. Flimsy and makes alot of noises when the baby turns when sleeping. I absolutely hate it. I am going to return it and get something without those noisy coils. I would not recommend this.

I haven't actually got to try it out on my newborn yet, but so far this mattress has exceeded my expectations. I worried about purchasing mattress pads to go under the sheet, but it doesn't need them due to the outer protective covering. Also, I was concerned about finding sheets to fit a 6" thick mini crib mattress so I read in other reviews to use gerber knit crib sheets (made for standard mattresses). They worked perfectly! A snug fit, but not so difficult that you have a hard time putting it on. I stocked up on those sheets! Im pretty sure sheets designed specifically for mini crib mattresses wont be large enough because of the thickness, so dont waste your money on ones labeled as so. The mattress fits the davinci mini crib nicely. Its thick and sturdy, and not so soft that it would pose as a suffocation hazard. It does make that scratchy plastic sound when you press down on it, but they all do if they have the protective outer covering, Its much better than the one that came with the crib however. Overall, I couldn't imagine having found a better mattress for the mini crib!

This products fits perfectly in the DaVinci Mini Crib. It was a great substitute for the mattress that was supplied with the crib. It is firm, but comfortable.

I know sheets are hard to find for this mattress especially character themed ones. After searching high and low for weeks I came across [@] and decided to give it a look. Well I found custom cut sheets that are made just for this specific mattress that came in a huge selection of colors, patterns and character themes!! Finally found my winnie the pooh sheets that goes with my theme! They are a little pricey but it is important that the sheets fit properly for safety concerns. And they are made in the USA!! Oh and the mattress is great!!

The product was as exactly described, dimensions right on. Perfect for my mini crib since the crib came with a dinky 1 1/2" pad. This has the right support and comfort for our new baby. Very happy.

I just received this mattress that I bought to go with the Delta Riley Cherry mini crib. I bought a couple of the Gerber Knit Crib Sheets for it, washed them, and put them on. They fit fine, even though they measure for a full size crib mattress. Because they have a tight elastic all around the perimeter of the sheet, even though there is extra material, it is secured under the mattress itself with the elastic. So anyone looking for sheets, the Gerber Knit Crib Sheets fit just fine (after a wash and a full run in the dryer) without excess material that would pose a suffocation danger to the baby. I went ahead and bought 2 more of those sheets.

my son has a normal crib in his bedroom but for now he sleeps in our room. we have the davinci emily mini crib in our bedroom, we bought this mattress because it was the same brand and size and knew it would fit. the tiny flimsy mattress/pad the crib comes with is ridiculous. so the 5inch mattress fits our crib perfectly and is great size, just what we were looking for, the only problem we have is that it is a little noisey, my son tosses and turns at night and the mattress making more noise ends up waking him up and we also started to see indents from where he sleeps most of the time. so the mattress doesnt seem to be great quality, but it does work for now. i wanted to find a waterproof pad/sheet that maybe will make the mattress more comfortable and less crinkly, im just worried the mini crib ones might not be 5inches and fit the mattress. also the gerber knit crib sheets fit this mattress perfectly! it was a little hard finding sheets at first.

High quality mattress. Fits perfectly in the crib. But beware, very hard to find sheets that fit a 5" mattress, especially for a porta crib.

I bought this mattress for my mini crib and it was hard to find sheets for it but I found some on [@] called Tadpoles Set of 2 Organic Porta - Crib Fitted Sheets. They fit perfectly.The mattress itself is a perfect size and used it for my son from birth till he out grew the crib at 17 months. We are currently getting it ready for the next coming in a few weeks.
