We bought this potty because it had Elmo and hoped it would encourage our almost 3 yr old to use it. Unfortunately, she didn't like to use this potty. And I'm happy she didn't like to use it because it is not too easy to empty the bucket and clean it. Also, because the bucket is red, it is hard to know exactly what shade her urine is; this became important when she was sick and we needed to know how concentrated her urine was. We bought a different potty, with a white bucket and it is much better to use and to clean. The seat is soft and comfortable for her to sit on. And she uses it all the time! We even bought an identical potty for use at Grandma's house, too.

We had a potty seat for my son and he never wanted to use it so for Christmas we let him pick out his own. He originally picked out a Winnie the Pooh potty but it was to small for him and we had to return it. I was going to get him the Fisher Price Royal Potty, but he spotted Elmo and had to have it. I was happy because she loves Elmo, he was holding it in the cart and put it up for checkout, he got mad and thought the checkout guy was going to keep his potty because he did not put it in the cart. After we got it in the cart he held on to it for dear life all the way home. We got it out of the box and he was all ready to help put it together. We got it up and he wants to start using right away! I do not think I will have any problems cleaning as the seat part comes right off for me and the I just have to pick up the insert to dump and clean. This a small potty which id nice for our bathroom size and it has non slip grippers to put on the bottom (which was the only problem I had putting on, as they were tricky). I paid [$] for it and you can not beat that price! It stores the lid under the potty until you are ready for it to be used as a stool and Elmo can speak in English, Spanish, and French ( I like this because there is a lot of bilingual families out there). You can set it for all 3 or each one separately. This is one of the best potties I have seen so far in the last year of trying and looking, I would definitely recommend this potty to anyone!

My grandson goes in the potty now. I was skeptical because I keep reading it is hard to clean...it is VERY EASY to clean. You just push in on the sides of the seat lightly and lift it off and the little potty lifts right out. On the inside of the chair, you can also set it to speak English at all times which was a must. It was worth the money and he loves Elmo.

Elmo's too big so it's not comfortable for a toddler to sit down. My toddler's leg hits Elmo's hand so Elmo's message repeats relentlessly. Also, this chair is hard to clean. When a little boy oversprays, the potty goes into openings around Elmo and the whole chair has to be dissambled to clean - including the battery storage area. C'mon, this is a Sesame Street product, it should be great!

It's so hard to take off the top part off to empty the potty it's just a hassle! I just went and I got a new one.

We bought this potty with hopes that our daughter will sit on it. She loves Elmo and was so excited in the store. When we got it home and put it together, she has a hard time sitting on it. The hole is too big for her butt and it's really uncomfortable for her to sit on it. The elmo in the front is also in a really bad spot because her legs have no where to go because it's so bulky. Nice thought, but this potty is going back and we're going to go with another one.

This product is cute, but getting the seat on/off is a major pain. It does not have an easy release button, you literally have to pry it out of the holes, which can be messy. Check into others that have an easy on/off seat. Having to pry the seat off to empty 10 times a day gets old.

Sesame Street Potty Chair for my grandson first try on the potty Oh how he loves his chair and he is not afraid of the design so I think he will be trained in no time after he can use it fora stool to get on the big potty

I let my son pick this potty - he was so excited when Elmo "spoke" to him. However, with so many parts, this potty is incredibly difficult to clean. You're supposed to be able to pull the red potty part out from the back but it was impossible to do without a spill. I ended up having to take the whole top off which was a huge pain. My son hated the yellow piece in the front and always took it off, leading to a big mess everywhere (this probably wouldn't matter for girls but is a real issue for boys). I ended up getting rid of this and buying a much simpler potty - too much hassle!

My son is now 26 months old and loves Elmo! He picked this potty out all by himself, and we have just started to potty train. Its simple to clean and its not too large that it takes up the entire bathroom. My son also loves that he gets to push the button to hear Elmo tell him he did a great job after he uses his potty!
