I love the crib but my experience trying to purchase the conversion kit has been a complete and total nightmare. I've been communicating with a rep at the corporate office since October 2012 and EVERY MONTH she keeps telling me that the item is not available YET and she has no idea when it will be available. I don't understand why this crib is still being sold if Baby Cache is not making the conversion kit available for purchase. Oh, and the rep told me there was a conversion kit from another style that would fit the Oxford (the color wouldn't match of course) oh, but guess what? I don't see that kit being sold either. I love my Oxford crib but Baby Cache's customer service stinks!!!!!

We bought this crib for our first daughter in the summer of 2010. After looking at what seemed like a million cribs we found this one and there was no quetsion that this was perfect for our little girl. Fast forward 2 1/2 years and we still love this crib so much, which is good since she is stuck with it for the next 10 years or so! I have read many reviews that it scratches easily. I have not really experienced that. It has only scratched in places that my child has dug her teeth into it. Any wooden furniture will do that. We put guards on it and they have really helped protect the wood. This product is discontinued now so this review is pretty much useless, but I have to say that I love this crib and I am glad I found it!

I bought the Baby Cache Heritage crib when I was expecting my now three-year-old daughter, and it has held up very well despite being taken down and reassembled five times. Many reviewers have said these cribs scratch easily, and I suppose they might if you aren't careful, but my Heritage crib looks as perfect as it did when I first took it out of its box.

Now she is in a bigger bed, and I am expecting twins in a few weeks. I will be using the Heritage crib I already have for my girl twin, and I bought the Oxford crib for my boy twin.

The ONLY problem I had in assembling this crib (yes, I put it together at 7 months pregnant with twins with only a little help from my mother) was that the hardware was mislabeled. Having assembled the Heritage crib alone before, it was no problem to figure out what the instructions actually intended to be done.

Overall, an excellent crib, an excellent line of furniture.

I bought this crib in 2010 and am now wanting to buy the toddler conversion kit which is now discontinued. I have to go through the manufacturer to try and get the rest of the kit. The same thing happened when I bought my other daughter's crib. Just some advice, if you are buying a conversion crib. Buy ALL the pieces at the same time because it will either be discontinued or take 10-12 weeks to be delievered to the store.

It also scratches VERY easy....the crib and dresser has a few knicks in it...

I love this crib. I bought it in 2010 when my first daughter was due. Its easy to put together and very stable. I bought the toddler conversion rail when it became available and kept it in storage until it was time to put her in it. When it came time to choose a second crip i would have bought it again but it was unavailable so we bought a second Baby Cache an I love it just as much. The holes are the same in bothe cribs so I wont have to buy a second conversion rail just 2 sets of conversion rails to turn it into a full size bed. They do scratch easily, when both girls started teathing they chewed on the side rails and have left their mark.

We thought this was a nice product, considering the price you have to pay. Unfortunely we were wrong, this furniture does indeed scratch very very easily. The manufacturer will send you touch up paint, which we requested but received a marker that does not work. Also, the manufacuring company must not have any type of quality control. We recently ordered the four drawer dresser to match the set and we are yet to have a complete dresser, we are on dresser number four. Reasoning why we have had to order four dressers is because each dresser we have received has had flaws, a lot of flaws, due to the lack of quality control. There have been marks on all that we have received. We feel that when you spend this type of money on furniture you should receive pieces that are flawless. Must be our fault for expecting too much. Biggest regret we have is purchasing this furniture set. If you are interested in this set you may want to look around for an outlet store, you may have better luck and save some money.

If you were to look up Catch 22 in the dictionary, you would see this product pictured. My husband picked out this product because he liked how sturdy the crib and dressers were. He loved the color. I loved the craftsmanship. We registered for all the pieces(crib, both dressers, nightstand). We ended up purchasing three pieces when BabiesRUs was having a great deal of buy both dressers and get the crib free. Had the pieces delivered and was very easy to assemble. It looks beautiful in the room. I went back into BRU to get some last minute items for the nursery, only to find out that "my Oxford Collection" was being discountinued, after I had just purchased them the month prior. I immediately asked about the conversion kits and was told it would not be a problem to order. I figured I would wait 3-6 months before I had to really order them. My parents said that they would buy the toddler conversion kit for Christmas. I tried to order online, only to find it was not online. I called BRU and talked to three different sales associates before I got a manager. I was told that BRU has to order from Baby Cache, but BRU can't order directly, they have to place requests and when Baby Cache finally makes some conversion kits they will be shipped out. Sounds absurd and told the manager so. I now have my name on a rain check for the toddler conversion kit not knowing if I will ever get one. Had I known all of this before purchasing, I would have purchased another style/collection of crib. Beautiful crib/parts unknown.

When I first saw this bed in Babiesrus I had to have it for my little one. We also purchased the chest and dresser. We did only used the crib for naptime due to the severe seperation anxiety my daughter experienced when she was away from us. With that being said you would think it would be in excellent condition. Unfortunately, the finish is like nail polish and it chips away at the least touch. I have attempted to keep the furniture dust free but it dents and scratches the finish so easily I dont bother anymore. I would recommend a real lifetime crib because after a couple of years there will be no finish left on the bed. Also I forgot to mention how the dresser drawer constantly get stuck when you open or close them.
