Never worked right- everytime I took my son's temp (he is now 8 1/2 months) it always said 96.1. Tried on myself and gave another reading. Even when my son's temp was 102.8 rectally this showed 96.1! Don't waste the money- for 10 dollars more go with the Braun.

I purchased this thermometer 3 days ago. It kept reading 97.0 so I thought maybe it needed new batteries. When I went to change them I inspected the thermometer and it turned out to have a crack at the tip! Very disappointing!

This product is as innacurate as can be. Never gets close to a normal temperature, let alone a fever. I called the company to ask what "normal" would be on this thermometer and they could not tell me. They told me it must not have been in deep enough if it never registered over 96. If it was in any deeper, I'd have a punctured ear drum. Don't waste your money.
