I registered for this product and now find it is the biggest piece of junk. The battery was dead when I got it but had already thrown all the box away so couldn't return it. Purchased new batteries for it and they are dead within a week after only using it once.

Do not register for it and do not waste your money on this product. Look at the reviews on the other version of this which isn't a gift pack and you will see horrible reviews also.

This is soooo horrible I would give it no star if I could! It was so hard to understand how it worked and I don't think I ever got a reading from it. (I even went on-line for directions and couldn't get any help.) I ended up finding out what my doctor use. It was costly but you placed in the babies ear and got the reading in 5 seconds.

This thermometer set will NOT tell you body temperature. We tried it on our daughter using several of the attachments and each one told us her temp was between 93 and 96. I tried it on myself and got similar results.

In the end, my daughter DID have a fever.

As you can tell by the other reviews here, this is a useless product. It is very frustrating to find a good one, and I assure you this is another one for the junk pile. We're going to spring for an ear thermometer.

I registered for this kit after reading decent reviews of it somewhere. Totally regret it! The cute carry case is flimsy but worst of all is the thermometers aren't accurate.

I tested the oral and arm attachments on myself and kept getting temps in the 95-97 degree range.

Also, the pacifier thermometer doesn't work for us. Baby does take a paci but won't hold this one in very long ... as a first time mom I thought the pacifier thermometer sounded fantastic! I didn't know that it needed to be sucked on continuously for a minimum of 3 mins to a suggested 6 minutes.

In the market for a new thermometer, but I will not buy this brand again.

I correctly used a Safety 1st thermometer to determine my 6 week old had a temperature high enough to require an emergency room visit late one night. At the emergency room, they determined she had no temperature and gave us a thermometer to take home. At home, I used both thermometers and the Safety 1st continued to give me very inaccurate results. It went right into the garbage.
