The box is 8 inches by 5 inches. It's for my 10 year old son, so it should be OK, but the model is very small...around 4 inches high...

Comments about Learning Resources Human Body Anatomy Model:

The product was purchased for a foundational kinesiology class. I only used the skeleton 3 times for the 3 submissions. After the first project, the arms came off. After the second project, the head fell off. I had to submit the third project with the arm stuck in the hip socket. This is very poorly made. My projects simply entailed coloring in on the model (in Pen) the origin and insertion of muscles.
I've never purchased anything so cheaply and poorly constructed. Very surprising that my skeleton was the only one that fell apart. Very embarrassing. Gratefully, I still received an A in the course.

We purchased this model for a year long anatomy project. The model is far too small & doesn't snap together very easily.I guess I should have read more carefully the desciption. (size) Definately not worth the money.

Comments about Learning Resources Human Body Anatomy Model:

The model is excellent, but just too small. The organs are puzzle pieces to learn anatomy. There are great learning cards inside. The child can learn so much!

The age is 8 up, but if you read the cards, a younger child can still enjoy and get great information and use from this toy. (So can his parents haha).
