I've had this a year. When people mention it's "Too high" and "In baby's line of sight" it's because they are attaching it in the wrong location. My son has used this tray since he was 7 months, and the tray has always layed right on top of his legs. The only thing I do not like about this tray is, since you have to attach it to the seat, rather than the frame, the frame makes it difficult to attach. Also, it would be nice if there was something to block the child from sliding out, so I don't have to buckle him all the time.

The baby tray for the city mini jogger works great with snacks and a drink. Does everything I expect it to.

Needed this item with my one year old. It sits a little high for him and he can't see out because the tray is in his live of sight. It also comes out differently than most strollers. It goes straight out. So it's either on or off you can't take one side down to. Take your child out. It also gets in the way when folding so I take it off- don't want to lose or carry it at the airport. It's a necessary item for me even though it was expensive for a plastic tray.

Sits way too high, even for my big two-year-old. Very akward for him to have a tray with food at eye level & blocking his view. Also, it's ridiculous that this does not come with the stroller. Did not realize that when I bought stroller. Once it is on the stroller, it has to be removed for the stroller to fold up, also a pain.

I got this for whenever my son will be in the stroller for extended periods of time, like trips to the mall or long walks. It's the only one for this stroller, so I just went and bought it. I don't have any complaints about the height. My year old son is a big guy for his age so the height is fine. To me, this is a lifesaver since he starts to get antsy after a while and can now have his snacks, sippy, and small toys right there whenever he wants.

Note: Make sure the silver buttons on the side of the City Mini pop out when you put the tray in...if not, it will not be secured and baby will be able to remove it. I learned this within the first 2 minutes of use :)

Yes, as everyone has said, the tray is way too high. I have an 18 month old, and have been using the belly bar instead, up til a week ago. Putting a blanket underneath my son for him to sit on helps, but it's still awkward. The tray however is very sturdy and snaps in and out very easily, which helps me not to hate it. Bottom line, don't use it unless you're planning on giving your child a snack during your stroll. If you're not, the belly bar is a way better option, as it's height is adjustable. I see that Baby Jogger offers a "belly bar console" that connects to the belly bar, that also holds snacks and toys. Maybe that would've been a better option? I can't imagine using the tray for a baby younger than a year and a half. If you have a younger baby, go with the belly bar for now.

The tray sits pretty high up when installed. It is almost at chin level on our 13 month old. I would probably use this more if it didn't sit as awkwardly high. Product seems well-made and attaches securely though.

I purchased this tray just the other day so we could have it to take my son to the zoo this past weekend. Very simple installation. Pop out of the plugs on stroller...push in the tray. It does sit up high as others have commented, but personally for my son (a tall 17mth old) this didn't affect him. I could see where it would be a problem though. I like how you can release one side and let your child out without removing the tray all together. It can seem a bit flimsy, if you use it just for what it is meant for, it should be great.

I just bought this for my City Micro and I'm so glad I did. I will agree if you have little ones it could be a bit too high for them. My DD is almost 3, but she is only in the 5th percentile and so she is the size of an almost 2 year old. If you child is 1 1/2 and up then this should work for them. My local store had them so I just took it out of the box and tried it out. My DD was very excited to have a place for her cup!

I am glad I purchased this item. My son has enjoyed it so far. I can put his cup and a few snacks on the tray and he is as happy as can be. It was easy set up and it seems to be made well. The only concern I have is that my older children may do something like lean on it when it is open and crack it off the hindge (they are old enough to know better and they are too rough.) The one complaint I have is that I keep going to the wrong side to open it. I think I just need to slow down a bit. I think this is a good purchase!
