I love my City Mini, for how compact, light and easy it is to fold. When my son was about 1 year, I realized I needed a bar, or he basically would lean almost out enough to tip the stroller, I bought this in store, used it for about a week before a trip requiring air travel, and LOVED it, so did my son!!. It's durable and with normal use should do wonderful, I like that the cover is removale for washing.. I used it in the airport then gate checked it, not thinking it would be necessary to remove the belly bar, it actually made a GREAT handle to carry it... HOWEVER, it obviously was thrown around when they were loading or unloading it, because I got off the plane to find both ends had been snapped off! tried to glue it with no success, so now i'm looking at buying #2.... Grrr my recomendation is ALWAYS remove it before you check it at the airport (either at check in or at the gate).. it's easy to take on and off, justs adds one more thing to carry on the plane.. sort of a pain, but worth it if you have an antsy child! obviously as I plan to buy another one :-)

Recently purchased the City Mini for our 16 month old. The stroller is great but my son needed the belly bar. He likes sitting up and holding on to the bar. It's adjustable which is great. I wish the bar came with the stroller but it's worth the money.

This is the best accessory for the city mini (wish it was a bit cheaper or came standard with the stroller) but overall id say out of all the accessorys this one is the most necessary. Its adjustable, i cant figure out why the child tray isnt because the child tray sits very high. [...]

I've wanted one of those ever since I got the City Mini a few months ago. At first I didn't want to spend any additional money since the stroller is pretty expensive, especially since it's the 2nd stroller for us in less than 1 year. As my baby grew more and started to lean forward in the stroller, I felt that this item will be very useful, and it is! My 10 month old loves to hold on to it while on a stroll! And it looks great too, the stroller just looks more complete with it added. HUGE drawback that it should really be included with the stroller (along with a parent organizer too, which btw I bought separately). In the end, together w/ the parent organizer, it was additional [$], but in my opinion very useful!

we use it on daily basis its easy to remove and put back on for my wife and there is a place for toys to hang for my daughter

Just bought at a different store locally....it is FAB! gives my 16 month old son somewhere to hold onto and makes it easier to sit up straigt (he does not really ever lean back at the angle the seat is- it's sort of reclined even straight up). For a younger baby you could attach toys etc- perfect. THE BEST PART- you can use this as a car seat adaptor too- works perfect with our new pink snugride for baby #2 due in a couple of months. You do have to unclamp the canopy in the brackets but then it just slides right in snug into the back of the seat and rests right on the belly bar perfectly. LOVE IT!
