We had a preemie and he took to the Dr. Brown bottles great! He doesn't spit up and is able to drink/eat with ease. We haven't had any leaking issues. It does have a few parts but I don't have a problem washing them especially since they supply the brushes with the bottles. Great bottles!

I actually worked at Toys/Babies R Us and had to learn about all the features and benefits of the Dr. Brown's products so that I could to host an in-store event for their product line. I ended up buying this gift set for my cousin who had just had her third, and last, child. She already had two other bottle systems but both her previous children had terrible colic. After just three days using this system she bought two more gift sets and completely switched to Dr. Brown's because it worked so well. Yea, there are a lot of parts but it's worth it, and becomes easy once you get the hang of it. I now get this for all my family and friends when they are expecting. Overall, FANTASTIC product!!

I tried several brands of bottles with my son before trying the Dr. Browns. I tried Tommee Tippee, Avent, and Similac. I was convinced that the wider style nipples had to be better. Boy was I wrong!!! (at least in terms of my own child) My son was having so much trouble with sucking in air, chocking, and not being able to get a good latch. This all made him very gassy and fussy. I was so frustrated. Well I bought a Dr. Browns thinking why not. The first time my son used these bottles it was so much better. He got a perfect latch on the nipple and didn't take in and swallow any air!! I was so happy I was in tears. He burps better and less frequently. And he eats more in less time because he is able to be more efficient and more comfortable. For us these have been a miracle. Also, I pump so my son gets only breast milk and these bottles heat very evenly and quickly. I don't have to worry about heat pockets or it taking forever because the bottles are so thick and round. Love these bottles!! I know that they take a little longer to wash but I just stocked up on them and only wash once a day. So my suggestion to that would be to buy more than you need in a 24 hour period so you only have to wash once a day if that.

I received this gift at my twins' shower and absolutly love them! It's a great starter set. My two daughters love the bottles, although there are more parts to wash compared to other bottles (i.e. Avent, Playtex) it's well worth it! I also recommend the Dr. Brown bottle sterlizer.

The best bottles ever. with both my kids I tried many brands and came back to the original dr brown. The easy flow system was keeping my babies colic free, no spit ups no throwing up. It worked absolutely perfect. I was happy to discover them and now it is one of my favorite baby shower gifts for all my friends.

Love these bottles for the obvious reasons, the description speaks for herself, I just wanted to share from my experience in using them with my baby.
I do recommend for a newborn to use the wide neck Dr Brown's bottles as they are more fit. I noticed someone saying that their baby choked on these nipples, totally agree, they are more suited for an older baby because the nipples are very small/narrow. My baby started using them at around 3 months when he had more control over the suction.
Another great use is that they match Medela Pump so u can connect them and pump directly into them.

I love the thin design of the bottle which will make it easier for the baby to hold its own bottle. I loved that it brings different nipple sizes and that it has travel caps to put on the bottle. I also like the amount of bottles it brings, if all goes well, these are the only bottles I'll have to buy for my baby until it starts using sippy cups.

My only complaints are:

1) I thought when it said it brought brushes to clean the bottle, they were actually brushes and not silver little, thin like a pencil type brushes that can only be used for the tiny spaces of the bottle and the nipple.

2) It has a lot of parts so it takes a while to wash them.

These are the best bottles I've found for my baby who has constant gas pains and reflux. I've tried Tommee Tippee and Avent bottles, and these really work the best. It also helps to put milicon drops direclty into the milk in the bottle.
