Got these bottles off my registry. I breastfeed and have only given her a bottle a handful of times. The first time I gave it to her I think she was mostly confused as to why she was getting milk from something other than me, but took to it quickly. They do leak if you don't put the little travel disc on them which is kind of a hassle because you have to wash/sanitize your hands before you can take it off. I also don't understand why this set comes with level 1,2 and 4 size nipples but no level 3? I thought I was missing a set of nipples. Being breastfed, I'm not sure when we will ever need to use the bigger bottles as she generally eats 4oz tops during a feed. These work with my Ameda Purely Yours breast pump.

The bottles themselves look great, were recommended by a friend. However this set claims to also include 3 cleaning brushes, which it most certainly does not include. Misleading.

My daughter is 8 months old now, and we are still using the 4oz bottles for pumped breast milk. They seem a little complicated when you first use them, but they work great. However, if you are planning to breastfeed exclusively, you do not need the gift set because you probably will not use the 8oz bottles, which are really for formula-fed babies. I have never pumped more than a few oz at a time, nor has my baby ever eaten more than a few oz at a time. So I recommend just starting with a couple of the 4oz bottles.

so far I have only used the 4 oz bottles but they are greatly decreased my son's amount of spit up, he also seems to have much less gas. I had previously used the playtex drop in bottles but he did not like the nipple, he had previously been nursed.

My son is exclusively breastfed, and I picked these bottles because they are compatible with my Medela pump- I can pump directly into the Dr. Brown's bottles without any extra attachments needed. I've never had a problem with the bottles leaking, and my son seems to like them. I would definitely recommend getting a basket to hold the parts in the dishwasher- otherwise the parts will fall into the bottom of the dishwasher. We had a few parts melt that way, BUT... you can buy just the replacement parts you need without buying a whole new bottle.

Great starter set of the best bottles out there. A lot of pieces to clean but well worth it. I registered for Playtex Drop-Ins but a friend told me about the Dr. Browns bottle and raved about them so I decided to purchase this started set and am glad I did. T

We got this set for our preemie baby boy. The nipple was actually easier to get into his mouth compared to the slow flow nipples from the hospital. I will note that he had reflux the first full day at home. We simply fed my baby boy at an angle, and then held him upright or at an angle for about 20 minutes and this solved the problem. My baby boy is feeding on Neosure with these bottles like a champ now.

These bottles are great because they dont leak and reduce gas...they take a little more time to clean because of the numerous parts so that would be my only complaint..otherwise a good buy

After trying many, many bottles, these were the best. They don't leak, they don't allow much air to get into the baby if any at all, and the nipples don't collapse. Every other brand we tried, the nipples would collapse, and/or they would leak. The only reason for 4 stars out of 5 is the fact that there are a lot of pieces. 5 pieces per bottle...ugh, but we got used to it and it's not too bad...we keep two baskets in our cabinet..one for the bottle itself and one for all of the parts, that way we can just dump them in right out of the dishwasher.
