This formula is far superior to any of the other brand names or store brands. You won't find your Pediatrician pushing it though because Nestle doesn't come into their offices with free samples and incentives to them. Your Pediatrician will tell you not to change formulas without talking to them and them telling you which ones to use either. HMMMM!!! Guess what... I tried this without my Pediatrician's "permission", and it was the best thing I could have done! My daughter breastfed til 9 months, and Similac and Enfamil made her tummy hurt and she didn't have bowel movements for days. I started to do research and found this formula. With the comfort proteins and the natural cultures it seemed like a good choice for better tummy results... and we got them! PERFECT! Added pluses are the fact that the natural cultures help the immune system and the DHA and ARA. My daughter is almost 15 months old and only been sick once... so I believe the natural cultures DO benefit. I also pump her with them thru her Happy Babies cereal and with yogurt each day too, so that may help as well!

The only con to this formula is that it can be a little harder to get mixed up, but on the flip side of that it does not foam NEAR as much as any of the others. It also doesn't smell bad like the others.

My son is now a year old, hates milk, and has stopped nursing. (I cried!) I didn't want to keep him on regular formula seeming it was really not made for a child that old, and looked into the Step 2 formulas from various companies. However, since we had already used the infant version of this same one, decided that we would stick with this. It has been wonderful... his tummy has been great, he drinks it warm or cold from the fridge (we warm it at bedtime!) and has had fewer colds since on it. Being in a daycare will not keep him from them, but this certainly did help to lessen them! Yay for probiotics!

I have been using this product for about 4 months and have noticed for the extra price, if the Bifidus BL really beneficial for my son. Because since he has been on it he has had 3 colds and the flu, and no he does not go to a daycare. I would of been better off trying to fine stored breast milk for the price I am paying for formula anyways.

At 9 months my daughter started to slow down in her weight gain and her doctor started to get worried. I tried to feed her more fattening foods, but it didn't seem to work. So I tried to substitute a few breast feeding sessions for formula, but she hated the taste. After spending way too much on other brands, I finally tried Nestle Good Start 2 and it was an instant hit! She loves the taste and still breast feeds at night as a treat before bed time. Then at 11 months, we went back for a weight follow up and she is back on track, big and beautiful! I can't say enough about this brand other than they don't send you any coupons like the others do. Probably because they can stand behind their product and not have to beg you to buy it by giving you a coupon for [$] off! It's on sale the weekend after Thanks Giving at Babies/Toys R Us, so go pick it up! You won't regret it!

My baby is breast fed & I pump. The problem is my husband has a habit of leaving half full bottles out spoiling the liquid gold which has left me not having enough milk at the end of the day.

My daughter is 9 months old & this is the 3rd formula I have tried, she loves it & slurps it down. I tasted it, & it is close to breast milk in taste & it smells nice too. The other formulas smelt like iron & tasted like metal (like chewing on a big piece of tin foil), really awful. My baby would throw the bottle & gag, one soy formula made her vomit for 6 hours (so much for fussy tummy formulas!) I can't say that I blame her, I tasted the other too & I wouldn't drink them either

Save your money & just buy this one. My baby is a picky breast fed baby, but I was able to give her this tonight with no problems. It has a nice sweet smell & it tastes just as good. I am so happy I found this formula for the days that I am running a little low.
