great toy, it does not light up but, it can be attached to you belt. Or even you jean pockets. Plus it goes in all the way. But if it lit up it would be all the better. GREAT TOY!

This light saber has been fun for my two sons--ages 5 and 2. It doesn't close easily (takes a little force to get it "locked") but other than that, it is pretty indestructible. I am personally glad it doesn't light up. Don't need another thing with batteries! Good fun for the kids!

My child loves it, but we can't figure out if this one lights up. It is called a "light saber" but we can't find anywhere to put any batteries and there are no instructions with it. I think one that lights up would be a better choice....

my son has 2 red ones , two blue ones and one green light saber. He loves to pretent that he is Darth, while I am Luke and his dad is Obi wan. We have play fights and sometimes he just likes hooking the light saber to his belt loop and pretend that he is a jedi. very sturdy toy -tends to hurt if you get hit with it...be careful. lots of fun.

There is nothing wrong with this produce, but I actually thought it was going to be a little nicer than it was. If I had to do over I would spend a little more and get the next level up. For the money I guess it's OK.....
