MY GRANDAUGHTER HAD A GREAT TIME WITH THIS TOY,THE ONLY PROBLEM I FOUND WAS THAT THE PAINT WAS GONE QUICKLY AND YOU CANT FIND REFILLS UNLESS YOU ORDER ONLINE.

Purchased this for my granddaughter, and she loved it ! The paints were used up in 2 hours. I will have to find refills. The spin art worked well and was very quiet. Buy this for some fun.

My kids loved this product. The supplies did not last, and you need to work on a really flat surface. It is a great concept, but needs to be of better quality.

I purchased 2 of these 2 years ago for our school's Fall Festival. Great hit with the kids. They were great in terms of function... the 2 that we purchased had the perfect spinning speed, the paint guard was the perfect size & thickness (not flimsy), & the paint itself was terrific (not to mention that the machines are still going strong)..

The problem??? NO REFILLS! I completely disagree w/ whoever said this was not a problem, & that Tempura paint works as well as the paint that comes with the spin art.

TEMPURA PAINT DOES NOT WORK WITH THIS MACHINE!!!

As for cutting card stock yourself... that's a fine option for in-home use, but NOT if you have 2 or more kids using it. If you want your hands to cramp from cutting up the correct sized paper, that's fine. For the rest of us, that is not an option.

I actually really love the machine itself, but I am completely DISSATISFIED that there are no refills!

Shame on this company for doing such a poor job at customer satisfaction!

I bought this for my daughter for her 5th birthday. She was so excited and could wait to give it a try. Well, we opened it up and there were no paints so I had to exchange it for another on at the store. It works great, however the paints aren't bright like in the picture on the box. They are more watery and look pastel. It didn't seem to bother my daughter much...but it did me so when she used all of the paint I refilled the bottle with acrylic paint. It worked great. If the spinning slows down then you'll have to pop off the spinning part and clean it because too much paint is building up. Also they only put enough paint to use on the papers that come with it. While this product works (if you get all the items that are supposed to be included), I'd go ahead and spend the extra 1 or 2 dollars and get the rose art brand one. :-)

I don't usually leave reviews of products, but after reading everyone else's, I had to write! No, they don't sell refills, but how hard is it to cut more paper?? Seriously! Card stock weight works best. We've tried all different colors of paper, including black.

As for the paint, any tempura paint will work, I called the company on this a long time ago, and they agreed.

If the spinner starts to slow down, clean off the excess paint!

We've had our spin art for almost 3 years, and my kids (7.5 and 4.5 now) still love to play with it. We've given it as birthday presents numerous times!

This is a complete waste of money. I bought it for some summertime fun. My son was very excited. It spins too slow - I even changed the batteries twice. There are no instructions. I just wished I had read the other reviews before I wasted my money at the store. I'm returning this tomorrow. Will not buy any more Imaginarium products again!
