We believe that life around the table is incredibly important. As an adult, we have the luxury of being able to rest our feet on the floor, allowing us to move freely to get comfortable. For your child, there is no such luxury. TRIPP TRAPP® therefore features a unique, adjustable footrest that brings the floor up to your child. This creates better balance and comfort, as your child can easily shift their weight. By sitting with the feet supported and elbows at table height, your child can move easier and naturally, nd use their body without strain. It's all about support, balance and movement.

        It got this chair for my 5 month old (I also got the baby seat and the cushion), adn we really like it. My son can now join us at the dinner table, which he really enjoys. We will start solids soon, and I like that with this chair we can put a bowl on the table and he can feed from it rather than having his own tray. This way, it really feels like he is sharing meal with us.
        the chair was super easy to put together (husband did it in 10mn).
        From the first moment we put our son in, he felt really comfortable. I was afraid he might get frightened to suddenly be high up, but not at all : he was all smiles. I think the chair feels very stable to him as well, and since he can rest his feet on the support, it doesn't get to tiring for him.
        the color is really nice, it is a beautiful red (not to strong), which goes well with our other chairs.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          Absolutely the best product on the market. Much better quality than any Chicco chair out there, and this can be used for many more years beyond feeding. The design is impeccably modern, as such extremely flexible (step ladder, high chair, desk seat etc.) as it is designed to hold 300lbs.

          I have lived overseas as well in the states with my four kids and have had these chairs for over 10 years (we have one for each child). On both continents, its nice to see parents purchasing a product like this which has both style and functionality.

          Our favorite aspect of the high chair component is that there is no separate table top. As such, as soon as your child is eating while in the chair, he/she is pulled up to the family dining table and is part of the family meal, helping create a wonderful bonding time and further developing the closeness of our family.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
