I gifted this to my nephew on his 2nd birthday even though it is recommended for 3-7 years old, only because he was fascinated with adult laptops and wanted one for himself. I checked the reviews here and decided to go with this. I am so glad I bought this of all. My nephew knew alphabets at that age but could not identify the small case letters, numbers and had no knowledge of phonetics. This laptop taught him all of those and also mouse coordination. He will turn 3 in two more months and I can say that he has mastered this laptop. He even plays the games in this using mouse and can clear all the levels too.

Even though the screen is no where close to adult laptops, the screen can change colors and that makes it look better. I read in one of the reviews that this is one of the few kids laptops that has some color in the screen.

I strongly recommend this laptop for 2+ years old.

I bought this laptop when my daughter had 15 moths but she lost now I buy again but in color pink it's so cute. My daughter absolutely loves this laptop. She has learned so many letters, learned the phonetics of that letter, knows which objects/animals go with each letter and she is only 26 months!! Of all her toys, this is the one that grabs her attention the most. This is a great buying

Bought this for my son when he turned two. He already knew some of his alphabets. Within a month of playing with it, he learned all of his upper case alphabet with the letter recognition game. The mouse doesn't work that well, but the rest of it is great. I wish the screen was a little bigger.

My 20 month old daughter has played with this everyday since we got it for her 2 months ago. She always wanted to play with Mommy & Daddy's laptop, so she was very excited to get her own! She is too young to play the games, but loves the alphabet and phonics. She repeats everything the computer says, and can now name all the letters in the alphabet. An earlier review states that the colors will hurt eyes. I don't agree with that, I have spent alot of time watching the screen with my daughter, and the colors are not too bright. I highly recommend this as a fun educational toy.

I bought this for my son when he turned 2 and he just had his 3rd birthday and still loves playing with this. This laptop is great, there are many different activities that teach your child their letters, alphabet order, lower case and upper case letters, numbers, counting and games. We used it from left to right as he learned his letters we moved on to upper and lower case letters then numbers and now he loves playing the games using the mouse on his own. He picked up everything very quickly and really loves using his laptop. This was one of the best toys he has and I'm very glad I found this laptop for him.

The color on the screen is not true color - once it's turned on, all things on the screen are actually black or white, but illuminated by uniform color of either red, green or blue on the whole screen. So you'll have either a red screen, or blue screen, so on and so forth. That illumination is very strong and actually hurts eyes, especially the red, if you look at it a bit longer. The music is fun, content is great. I noticed my nanny always switch it off among all other toys, and she told me the same thing. I wouldn't recommend this product.

My son got this as a gift for his 2 year old b-day. He loved it right away. Within days, he was repeating some of the letters and also associating some of his toys with the pictures he had seen in the laptop. He already new some letters of the alphabet, but this laptop just helped him out even more. It is totally fun for kids and they end up repeating and learning.

My daughter got this toy for Christmas (she was 22 months) and she learned most of the letters already. She absolutely loves this toy and prefers it to any other. I bring it out with us all of the time. It's very educational with the alphabet. She's still a bit too young to use the mouse part of it (which you need to do the numbers game and another one on it) but it still has other features. She is even pointing out letters to me on the street that she learned from this toy. She say look mommy that's H for Hippo. Love this toy!

Bought this for my 3 year old for Christmas. Loves it but gets frustrated with the mouse...doesn't quite move as easily; other than that great product

This is just perfect for a smart toddler.......keeps my daughter busy........and shuts down on its own after a few minutes when the toddler walks away, thereby saving batteries.
