      This was one of the first trains I ever bought for my nephew, it was a big hit. It helped develop fine motor skills, the door slides back and forth with fingertip manipulation. The child is rewarded by the roar of a tiger. It also helped develop early language skills, my nephew loved to imitate the lions roar and we were really excited as he didnt speak at all at the time. The hippo is so cute! Her mouth opens and closes as she is pushed along the track.Good times.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
