I started pumping bottles for my baby at 1 week old because of the soreness from nursing and she was able to feed from the wide nipples without any nipple confusion and go back to the breast. I don't particularly like that I have to disassemble the whole bottle with its 6 pieces to clean it but it's the best fit for my breastfed baby.

This was the only bottle with a Y cut nipple whenI started to give my daughter cereal with her formula the thick consistency would flow through this nipple. Other products were too tight and nothing would leak out.

I breastfed my baby but these came in handy when I pumped and had someone watch him.I left one at my parents and at my in laws so they always had a bottle there and had 3 lefts over for home. My baby seemed less gassy because of the vents and it's tilted. It was easy to take apart and wash all the piece too. I would buy these again.

The WIDE nipple was great, never had a problem switching from breast to bottle. I have 2 complaints. First, I felt like I spent WAY too much time cleaning. Each bottle has four parts that need to be separated and washed meticulously or a film is left on them. When time & sleep are precious, the last thing you want to be doing is washing a hundred little pieces. My second complaint is that if the bottom rubber disc isn't completely DRY it leaks all over. After about 4 months the rubber starts to lose it's integrity and soften so they eventually leak anyway. All in all they got the job done for the first baby, but definitely won't use them for the second.

I am really suprised by the negative rating on this bottle. We had these for our now 3yr old son and wouldn't have used anything else.
Cons: There are a lot of parts; If it's not completely dry and put together, they will leak-although the biggest problem we had was actually just residual water leaking back out.
Pros- It helped our son with fussiness and gas; We had very little air bubbles in formula-anytime we did, it was usually our fault for the way we mixed it.

The different levels of nipples worked great for us. Our son was born at 36 weeks and we used the slow flow for quite a long time. We simply washed the bottles and let them air dry on a drying rack or towel overnight and made sure they were completely dry before putting together. These bottles/nipples are also VERY affordable compared to some of the others out there. We plan on using them again for our baby due in November!

I bought these playtex bottles because i heard good things about them from a few friends and playtex has been around for years. except my friends did not breast feed, so my son has a lot of nipple confusion with these bottles. they are not shaped like a breast/nipple and does not mimic breast feeding. also these bottles get a lot of air bubbles that cause spit up and gas in my son. the only thing i like about these bottles is that they are angled so he can drink from a more upright position. i only use these bottles when all my tommee tippee bottles are dirty.

I have never had the bottles leak. They are easy to wash and assemble. Baby had less gas. These bottles really worked well for us.

So disappointed with these bottles. Out of 5 bottles in the set, 3 of them warped/melted in the dishwasher. They no longer seal properly, leak horribly, and are unusable. When the first bottle melted, I called Playtex. The customer service representative assured me that it's safe to put the bottles in the dishwasher on the top rack, light cycle. The representative apologized for the melted bottle and offered to send me a coupon for a replacement. Over a month has passed since then, no coupon has arrived from Playtex, and 2 more bottles from my set of 5 have warped in the dishwasher. Our baby is only 2 months old so I'm not impressed with Ventaires at all. Complete waste of money.

After breastfeeding for 6 months I wanted to start introducing a bottle. We tried the "breastflow" bottles but they were a pain in butt with the insert. My baby refused Dr. B's bottles...I'm guessing because they were too thin. However, she loves these!
We have never had a leak and I recommend these to all of my friends!!
