This has become my boy's favorite bottle. And I have triend a lot of them. BUT ONLY BUY IT IN WIDE MOUTH! Seriously, the narrow ones must not feel as natural as the wide ones, because my boy hates all narrow nipples. My baby can really tell the difference. It must feel more like his mom's natural "feeders". :) I have a hard time getting my boy to burb after he eats when I use this bottle because he swallows very little air.

I have both the drop ins and the wide ventaire bottles. With my third child now I am using both the drop ins which are good for on the go and at home I use the ventaire. What I really like is I can use the same nipple that I use with the drop ins so no confusion there. It does get expensive buying the liner usually a box of 100 lasts me forever. My son loves them both and has no problems. A must to have it does cut the air bubbles and baby has no gas.

my baby had reflux. and it was pretty bad to where she wouldnt want to drink her milk. we tried dr.brown bottles but they didnt seem to make any difference! then our doctor recommended these bottles and oh my gosh it made such a difference. my baby started eating well and she wasnt as fussy and gas didnt seem to botehr her at all. my baby girl is almost 7 mo old and we still use these bottles. we have 2 sets, so i total of 6 bottles. i read someone wrote that they do not last long, i am not sure what that person was doing with them and how she was caring for them but mine are still in a perfect shape. also i read that people complain that they are so "hard" to put together. i never thought it was anything hard to do or taht it took a long time. it takes me 2 seconds to put teh bottle together i am not sure why people complain about it. also people say it leaks if not dry. thats why i have 6 of them. i wash the bottle after the feeding and put it on the drying rack. and by the time i am ready to use the same bottle again its complitely DRY. so ive never had the problem with leaks either. that is a GREAT product and i would recommend it to anyone!

The wide, slow-flow nipple was the best we found for our daughter. Other bottles were too fast and she gulped down milk too quickly and was more likely to spit up. These are easy to take apart and clean and the bottom vent does help to minimize gas.

The design of these bottles is terrible. There are 6 parts to wash, dry and assemble. Because of the 6 pieces, there are lots of places where they can leak. We have never been able to use these bottles successfully. Avoid this product!

I was very worried with my first child and wanted to make sure that I got anti-colic bottles just-in-case. I loved these bottles! They are easy to clean, both the top and bottom come off. The wide nipples are great for going back and forth from breast feeding. My husband also liked them because we did not have any issues with them leaking (we had a few sample bottles from Avent and they leaked a lot).

My son loves these bottles. He very rarely spit up and luckily did not have colic or gas issues. I never had a problem with them leaking and he is 4 months and I have yet to replace any of the valves in the bottles. Very durable and wonderful to use!!
My only con would be that it is impossible to make 6oz of formula in the 6oz bottle but I just use the larger 9oz bottles when I make 6oz bottles.

There are six pieces for each bottle. You have to take apart before loading into the dishwasher, then put back together afterwards. Not worth extra time!!

From birth we had to suppliment our little one. We use both these bottles and the playtex drop-ins (for 4 months now). Both have been great. No numbers have worn off, no leaking and really, is washing 5 pieces really more than 3? I always hand wash the bottles instead of using the dishwasher. I like being hands on with what goes into my little ones mouth instead of relying on a machine to do it for me. It takes only a second of washing. Have had no problem with going back and forth between breast and bottle. The only con is that they don't warm up that well in the bottle warmer, hence the use of the drop-ins that do. Will be purchasing the larger size here shortly.

I got one of these as a sample and decided I'd use it because the nipple is the same as the one used on the Playtex Drop-ins (I'd already started my daughter on those and was switching from breast to bottle). At first, they weren't so bad. I never had trouble with the numbers wearing off. The problem for me was when it came time to put together and warm the bottle:

-When putting together, you had to make sure all pieces were bone dry...nothing wet or else it leaks

-I was not happy having to warm formula in other bottles and transfer to this one. I did that because the bottle warmers use steam which gets into the bottom of this bottle, therefore making the pieces wet, therefore making it leak! Even if I made sure everything was absolutely dry before putting it together, it would leak after I warmed milk in it. So annoying!!!

The biggest pro (and probably the only pro) is that the nipples were great for going back and forth from breast to bottle.

But - I had to switch. Then, after using Playtex's Drop-ins for a while, I switched to a different bottle because those bags are just too much of an expense.

Go with a good, quality bottle like Born Free. Never had a leak. Sure, a bit pricey, but do the math, you'll save more than with these in the long run.
