Comments about Safety 1st Tubside Kneeler & Step Stool:

I have been using this kneeler everyday for the last 4 years (between two children) and it is great. It doesn't hurt your knees, it has thick padding, and it is very comfortable. I would definitely get this for the bath. :)

Not comfortable
By Mom with hurting back from Knoxville, TN on 10/24/2009

Compactable
Cons:
Uncomfortable

Parent of Two or More Children
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Safety 1st Tubside Kneeler & Step Stool:

Bought this hoping it would save my knees leaning over the tub, but was actually more uncomfortable than before. It feels ackward and suction cups don't hold up on side of tub either. Looking for another stool!

get a different kneeler
By frustrated bathtime mom from Harrisburg, PA on 9/13/2009
Cons:
Hard to operate
Describe Yourself:
First Time Parent, Parent of Multiples (Twins etc)
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Safety 1st Tubside Kneeler & Step Stool:

Like others have said, the top portion does not stay on the edge of the tub and constantly slides off, so the mesh part that holds the shampoos is useless. The feet fall out of the bottom when you move it. The only thing good about this is the actual kneeler, which is pretty comfortable. I got this as a baby shower gift (I had signed up for something else) and thought it might be cool b/c of the tub edge support, but it hasn't been cool at all. Don't spend your own money on this. I took the tub edge off and have just been using the kneeler.

Comfy But Strange
By Head Over Heels New Mom from PA on 9/4/2009
Pros:
Comfortable
Cons:
Hard to operate
Describe Yourself:
First Time Parent
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Safety 1st Tubside Kneeler & Step Stool:

The kneeler does help cushion the knees and my husband and I both have bad knees. However, the pads on the bottom don't stay on. So, when you're moving it out of the way they come out. It is inconvenient.

Comments about Safety 1st Tubside Kneeler & Step Stool:

So I got this at my babyshower. I was so excited that I would be ok kneeling at the tubside. boy I was wrong. The top portion that attaches to the tub doesn't stick properly so as I'm busy bathing my son its falling off and moving around. If it's wet, which of course you can expect, your elbows will not hold a grip. The knee base helps me be higher and able to lean into the tub better but its not as comfortable as you would think, expect. I still dont understand why the base opens, nothing fits in it. I'm back to using a folded up towel under my knees.

wouldnt buy again
By snickerdoodle72 from long island, ny on 7/22/2009
Cons:
Seals Poorly
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Safety 1st Tubside Kneeler & Step Stool:

A nice idea but not worth it. Would not purchase again. The suction cups dont hold and the top part pops off with any pressure. Mesh ripping from first use. Base part is useful as a kneeler (maybe a footstool later). Perhaps can be modified to just a kneeler, otherwise the problem with the top renders it useless. Also the rubber feet fall right out of the base when item is moved.

Best Uses:
Bathing

Comments about Safety 1st Tubside Kneeler & Step Stool:

Got this as a shower present. Our daughter is now 2 and we still use it every night. Has held up great! We've had to wash the pouch several times and it washes well. The kneeler is very comfortable for both my husband and I and makes bathtime MUCH easier on the knees and elbows. Easy to remove and store if needed. Great design! I would highly recommend this product. PS The elbow pad makes a great pretend changing table for my daughter's bath baby doll.

research other kneelers
By Morgan's mom from Harrisburg, PA on 6/29/2009
Best Uses:
Bathing, Bathroom
Describe Yourself:
First Time Parent
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Safety 1st Tubside Kneeler & Step Stool:

I received this as a shower gift, and I'm glad I didn't spend my own money on it. I agree with the other comments:
1. the suction cups don't stick very well on the tub.
2. The feet keep falling off...I've ended up not moving it, because it gets VERY frustrating. As soon as you replace one, another falls off.
3. The mesh pouches on the side do not hold much other than an average size soap bottle.

Disappointed :(
By catmom2 from Rochester, NY on 6/13/2009
Describe Yourself:
Parent of Two or More Children
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Safety 1st Tubside Kneeler & Step Stool:

Great idea. Was very excited to purchase it but it doesn't stay on the tub the suction cups don't stick at all on my tub anyway. The plastic anti-skid pads that go on the bottom fall right off. I had to super glue mine in. The convertable stool is only useful thing. Waste of money. Very disappointed.

Research other kneelers
By Lia from Miami,Fl on 5/1/2009
Cons:
Seals Poorly
Best Uses:
Bathing
Describe Yourself:
First Time Parent
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Safety 1st Tubside Kneeler & Step Stool:

The storage pockets keep unclipping itself from the arm rest. So you end up with a lose arm rest and the storage pockets hanging by themselves. At least you can still use the kneeler by itself but having the pockets attached would be ideal to have the bath lotion and shampoo handy. So the company still needs to fix that flaw.
