it looks like it might be a good product but its not, the shade itself it limits the sun coming in and you can see out but the little suction cups pop off the window and the screen rolls back up leaving the baby basking in the sun. dont waste your money

I hate the huge logo on this product! I wish they sold a solid black one, but overall it does a pretty good job protecting my son's eyes from the sun. The suction cups are horrible! No matter how hard I try three of the sides are always falling.

You get what you pay for is the motto here. It's one of the cheaper window shades, and acts it. Mine stays in place decently on the top, though the bottom 2 suction cups fall off all the time. It is difficult to see through, so not all that safe. The baby on board logo is cute, but should be optional/removable instead of there all the time. I would pick a different brand if I bought another. Overall it does the job, but not as good of quality as I would've thought- and the decreased visibility bothers me.

it was supposed to cover the entire back windshield, but it covered about 1/3 of it. there are much cheaper and less flimsy ways to partially cover a windshield. returned it a while ago, but haven't recieved my refund yet. still waiting.....

I think my biggest gripe is the stupid baby on board sign. I cleaned my window and the suction cups with rubbing alcohol and it stuck just fine. It does block the majority of the sun coming through the back window. It is difficult to see through while driving, but your child can see right through it no problem. If this was going to be moved from vehicle to vehicle constantly I don't think that it would hold up to the wear and tear.

My girlfriend bought this for her car because she does not have any tints and we wanted to make sure that the sunlight didnt get in our sons eyes. The inherent problem with this design is that because most cars have rear-window defrosters, the suction cups will leak in air and fall off. Also, if your in a humid environment like Miami, the change in temperature will cause the suction cups to come undone. The supporting lower and upper horizontal frames are the same plastics used in measuring tape and feel awkward to install. To be honest, you do NOT need to buy this, I would just buy rear window tints if your car does not already have a roll-up rear window shade (seen on Mercedes and newer luxury cars).

So annoyed! Bought this thinking it would be perfect for my rear window. Read over the packaging before buying and really liked that it was fairly large and attached via suction. When I finally had a chance to unroll it after returning home I was so annoyed with the baby on board sign in the middle of the shade. Now after seeing it online it clearly shows that, but when buying this product in the store no where on its packaging does it indicate it has the baby on board sign. Babies R Us isn't so close to home so it is another long trip back to the store. Ugh!

First, the shade kept rolling itself up when I was driving and I had to keep pulling over to try and fix it.

Someone actually waved me over while driving to tell me that the sun shade was not working & he was right- it was not blocking the sun.

I bought this window shade when going on a long car trip down south. I drove a car that did not have window tint and this window shade did the trick. I have a rearfacing car seat. It kept my 7 month old: cool, kept him from getting sunburn, kept him from being stuck looking right into the sun and kept his car seat cool when we were out of the car. It is super easy to use. Less than one minute to install. I was surprised when I found the night time feature of this window shade. It kept the headlights from cars traveling behind us from bothering him or wakeing him up when asleep. It also can be easily switched from car to car if you have more then one. This sunshade is soooooooooooooo worth the low cost.

We bought this and followed the instructions on putting it up but it would not stay up. Every morning and afternoon I would have to redo at least one of the suction cups. I really like all of the other Safety 1st products but this one is not worth the money. Also it was not big enough for our Ford Focus window so there was almost always light in her eyes too.
