From the minute my daughters received Go Go My Walkin' Pup, they were hooked. The packaging (thought a bit frustrating to release Go Go from) is bright and colorful and immediately clues girls in to the fun they're about to encounter. The girls could not wait to follow the pictures and try out their new toy!

The first thing my girls learned to do with Go Go was walk her using the included leash. If this was Go Go's only feature, we would have been hooked. Go Go walks great on every floor type and is not the old fashioned dog I had when I was young. It really looks like she's walking. The operation is also simple enough that both my 4 year old and 2 year old could make her work easily.

The next thing we discovered about Go Go is what she does when you're not pushing her buttons. Basically, she acts like a real dog. She turns her head. She makes noise. She sits. She wags her tail. She is amazing. My girls were absolutely thrilled. So was every other little girl on the block. Everyone wanted to play with this amazing toy. Go go even comes when you make noise. So cool!

Just when we thought we had discovered all of Go Go's features, we discovered the wonderful interactive app! The app allow children to take pictures of Go Go and interact with her through different activities (baths, toys, etc.). Hours of fun.

Even with all of the things Go Go does, my girls even thought she was snuggly enough to cuddle at night. (I'm not sure I would agree with this, but they had to take turns sleeping with her.) The only negative that Go Go has is that she does have a small mechanical sound that annoyed my husband, but neither my girls or I were bothered by it.

We received Go Go free from Hasbro, but I would definitely buy it or recommend it to a friend. It has been weeks now, and this toy is still going strong. The batteries are still going and so is the fun!

My almost 9-year-old daughter had asked me to get her a Go-go Walking Pup toy for several months. I wasn't sure how much she'd actually play with it though. So when I got the invitation to the BzzCampaign, I was very excited to be able to give my daughter the chance to try this for free. When I told my daughter, she was over the moon. She literally asked me every day if the toy had arrived. When it finally did, she couldn't open the packaging fast enough. I had high hopes for it.
For the first week or so, my daughter did play with Get Up and Go-Go My Walkin' Pup almost every day. She even walked it down the street to a friend's house to show it off. (I have to say that I wouldn't recommend this as the white fur got pretty dirty in just one trip.) She insisted that I download the app and she played various games on it almost daily.
The second week, the toy pretty much sat in a corner in her room but she did play with the app some more. I wondered if she'd go back to the actual toy at any point.
After several more days, I asked her if she planned to play with the pup any more and she brought it out. She walked it around our kitchen a few times but then went off to play with something else. She had most definitely lost interest in this toy and hasn't played with it since then.
I think that if my daughter was younger - maybe 6 or 7 - she would would have enjoyed the toy more. It's a cute puppy and it does do quite a few things. It walks, it sits when you pat it, it tilts its head, pants and it makes some pretty adorable puppy sounds. The app is also appealing. I think that my daughter is just a little bit too old to really engage with this type of toy. She has kind of moved on to more challenging concepts if that makes sense.
I think the toy is made well, works well and I like the fact that there's an app that goes along with the toy for additional play opportunities. The puppy is also really cute and when my daughter was more "into" playing with stuffed toys, I think she would have liked this a whole lot more. I'm giving the toy 3 stars because although it's probably a great toy for younger kids, for a 9-year-old, it's just not a toy with staying power.

My daughter absolutely loves this. My only complaint is that it tends to fall over if you try to "walk" it, especially on carpet.

Comments about Hasbro 1001119 FurReal Friends Get Up and GoGo My Walkin' Pup Pet:

We received the FurReal Friends Get Up and GoGo toy from Hasbro for free in exchange for my honest opinion of the product as part of a BzzAgent campaign. We have two daughters - one that is an animal snuggler and one that just likes animals in a scientific type of way (ages 3 and 5). There is a free app that you can get at the app store too that will let you feed your pet, give them a bath, and throw treats and toys for them to fetch. First, let me say that the first 2 days we had this toy it was a mixture of pure joy and loud arguments as they both played with this new toy and wanted it all to themselves. It is very cute and they both had a lot of fun walking it around and using the app on my phone to give it a bath and feed it. After that first two days the interest waned considerably. Now, several weeks later, they play with it occasionally, but not every day, and not for more than a few minutes at a time. I gave this product 4 stars because it is good, but in the end it seemed like the kids were more interested in the app than the toy itself. For reference, we also have the FurReal Calico Kitten (which is about half the price of this) and they play with each of them about the same amount if I say they cannot use the app.

I received this from Hasbro for free as a BzzAgent. My 9yo daughter is animal crazy. We already have a full house with dogs, cats, fish, and a horse. But this is the first interactive toy she has had a chance to play with. The absolute best part is the ability to run on all floors. Carpet, tile, linoleum...no problem! The fur is dirt resistant and soft, and an on-off switch makes it easy to store for later play. The only complaints are the mobile app, and that clapping doesn't get the promised reaction easily. But it's entertaining and friends always want to pull Go-Go out when they come over. So, it's a hit, even with the 8-9yo group.

Comments about Hasbro 1001119 FurReal Friends Get Up and GoGo My Walkin' Pup Pet:

The hard part of rating this is that we are partially dependent on the input of a child so there is that difficulty. I received one of these products as part of a promotion.
My daughter absolutely loves the puppy. She plays with it a whole bunch and loves the app that goes with it. She woke me up one morning going "Daddy, I need to feed my puppy, can I borrow your tablet?" So of course I let her feed her animal with the app (more on that below) and she had a great time.
So going by my daughters star rating I would probably rate closer to 5/5 stars.
However, I am not as impressed for a couple of reasons that I will bullet point below.
          The Less-than desirable
          * The instructions are very limited and unclear on some of the operations. Apparently you can talk to the dog and it will respond, but the instructions do not indicate what the command words are or any specifics on talking to your animal.
          * The controls (without using the app) are sort of silly and limited. Press the button on the leash to go, tap the top of the head to stop the animal. HOLD the button to have the puppy walk consistently, in one direction, until it hits an obstacle. This makes it very difficult to play with it indoors.
          * 4 C batteries
          * the $59.00 price tag is a bit steep for a toy like this

          The Good
          * The app really makes this toy. The app interacts with the puppy via sounds, so there is no awkward Bluetooth or wireless bonding. Just sit close enough and the sound controls the animal. The app is full of minigames that interact with the animal so that you feel like you really are, say feeding the animal, or bathing the animal. Really cool. Really fun.
          * NO ADS in the app ^_^ (also it is free)
          * The product seems very sturdy. Sturdy feeling wheels and joints. Nothing bad to say about the construction of the toy
          * My daughter really does feel almost like she has an actual puppy. She talks to it and plays with it. Overall she has been really enjoying it.

All those considered I would probably rate closer to 3/5 stars just because of the drawbacks I outlined above. However since my daughter would be the deciding factor on what she does and does not like. 4/5 stars.

Comments about Hasbro 1001119 FurReal Friends Get Up and GoGo My Walkin' Pup Pet:

This toy was a big hit with my daughter and even her little brother!! My daughter fell in love with "snowy" the first time she layed eyes on her. This is a very cute toy. We do not have a real dog for a pet, and now we don't need one. Seriously, this dog listens to commands, plays with the kids and even goes for walks. However with all the positives of this toy, I do think it is a little pricey. That is the only reason I gave this toy a 4 star rating instead of 5. I did receive this toy free from Hasbro through BzzAgent to try and review. I would not have paid full price for this toy, however it is always a hit with both my kids and their friends. I would recommend this toy, especially if it was on sale!

I received the Hasbro Furreal Friends get up and Go-Go My walking pup for my Daughter at no charge for my honest opinion. My daughter has been using this for about 3 weeks now and she is still obsessed with it! it sleeps with her and she takes it everywhere including to my mothers house when I am working. she loves the design of the leash and handle she says it is like a real leash. she gets excited when it whines for it "mommy" and she is using her imagination instead of plying video games which makes me very happy. I would recommend this to children 5 and under because my daughter is 4 and she loves it right now but i am not sure if it is going to hold her interest in a couple of years. Overall a excellent product and we are very happy with it.

My daughter is in love with the Get Up & Go-Go My Walkin' Pup that we received for free from Hasboro. She wanted a real indoor dog but for now this works and she's stopped asking for a real one. It walks and barks and interacts with her. She loves the app because there are more features with that to make the dog even more life like. It is very easy to use. This is a good quality toy that will last and get lots of play time out of.

I was lucky enough to receive this toy for free from Hasbro, and my 4 year old daughter hasn't stopped playing with it since. You can take it on walks and it responds with cute puppy sounds when spoken to. Even my 18m old likes to play with it by pushing the button on the leash to elicit action and sounds from the toy. My 4 year old especially loves the app - I'm going to have to figure out a different way to let her play with that so I don't have to keep loaning her my phone to play. As expected, this toy is white and therefore has gotten dirty from the numerous walks around the neighborhood.
