its adorable but the music is loud while the microphone part is very soft. would have bought a different one if i knew this.

It was a gift for my 19month old daughter, she enjoyed it. She loves all the colors and seems happy to play with it. I wish it had a shut off button and the mic button were easier to push.

My daughter who is 3 received this for Christmas. Although she likes it, I've found it gives off a high pitch sound when she put her mouth too close to the microphone. When she moves her mouth a little further away, you can't hear what she is trying to sing. I tried it myself and found the samething. You have to put the microphone close to your mouth for your voice to be heard, yet you're dealing with the high pitch noise at the sametime. Extremely annoying to say the least!! I got on here to see if any other customers had the same problem, but it didn't appear to be a problem for anyone else's reviews. My daughter gets discouraged trying to sing into the microphone due to the high pitch noise.

Bought 2 of them for my twin 2 year old sons. They like to dance to the music, they love the clapping at the end of the song. They are happy to hold the mic and sing their songs. They don't even notice the fact that they have to hold the mic button. For the price and their age, its perfect.

One year old really likes to push the buttons and dance to it, but can figure out the mic button and talking into it at the same time (more for two and up). Light weight. When mic is on, it is not great at amplifying the voice.

I bought two of these - one for my 3 year old son, and one for my 2 year old nephew. My son loved it right away and played with it, but became disinterested because you have to hold down the button in order for the microphone to work. It would be easier if the button would "click" and hold in place so it could be talked into. My nephew had the same problem.
However, they both enjoyed pressing the "sound" buttons to hear the music. It's annoying to adults, but the kids seem to enjoy it.
