My entire family loves this toy! We built it together as a family, and even my 14 year old enjoyed it! My 7 year old loved it so much that after a few days of just playing with it after we finshed it, he tore it down and started building his own "Marble Mania MEGA". This is soo much fun for the entire family and I think we might just have to go get another one!

The Mega was the hit of my nephew's birthday! He loved putting it together - he spent all day methoducally building it step by step. The instructions were simple enough for an 8 year old to follow. He was so proud of himself when he finished. He even ordered extra pieces so he could enlarge it! [...]He and his friends love watching the marbles wind their way through the maze - keeps them occupied for long periods of time. A definite must have for the holiday season!

My family loves this product. The full color picture instruction manual is easy to follow. Do not overthink and just follow the pictures and you will be fine. My husband, 15 year old, 6 year old son and I put this together as a family project. It is a great product and I would highly recommend. There also is a website devoted to just the Marble Mania products with alternate builds for each set. As a mom, I love products that challenge childrens imaginations.

Took forever to put together. There are tons of pieces with only one configuration. So once you got it built all you could do was drop marbles in. You could not design your own marble run. The instructions were so long that my son got bored and hubby and I ended up completing 2/3 of it.

Bought this item at the store for [$]. My classroom aide helped my students put it together. It rocks. There are problems with this item, but I buy things for my kids that challenge them. My aide wants me to go back and pick up one for her son.

I am stymied at Step 5 Stage 1 and can't figure out how to insert the pieces to match the picture. I am very, very discouraged and disappointed. My PhD daughter was able to assemble this set at Christmas time, but I am unable to duplicate her.

When assembled, the grandchildren liked to send the marbles (and one tried hot wheel cars) through the maze, but I was hoping they could re-build the contraption themselves. Supposedly it is possible to create structures different from the one in the instruction book. I am, regretfully, doubtful.

Wow. I expected a toy to build and rebuild in different ways (for the young "engineer" in the family). However you can only build it once and there was no way my child (who loves building things) could even help in this process. The directions were SO detailed and SO difficult that we made a few mistakes in connecting some of the snap on pieces and the connector prongs broke when we had to try and disconnect them again. My son ended up finding something else to do while my husband (the engineer)worked on it for over 5 hours and it has now been sitting unfinished about 1/2 done for the last week. A teenager at the youngest would be able to assemble this
