    I bought this for my cousin's daughter for Christmas and she loved it. I was worried about it all falling apart once the pizza is made, but it is made so that it connects and you can even "slice" it or have a whole pizza.

    My daughter received a play kitchen for Christmas. So when her aunt asked what to get her, I suggested the JLH pizza. My daughter loved it. She didn't even have it a full 24 hours and the broccoli pieces were breaking into two. I packed it up right away. I don't want her choking on the smaller pieces now its broken. I will be returning it, and getting something else for her kitchen.

    Melissa and Doug version has 3 topping choices, Just like Home has 5, just fewer of each topping; JLH comes with parmesan cheese and pepper shakers, M&D does not, but it does come in a wodden box for storage.

      I actually bought the Melissa and Doug version of this, which is wooden...it was the only one like I'd ever seen until my son's speech therapist pulled out this toy. He *loved* it! I was so happy b/c the one I bought is a Christmas gift, so he hasn't gotten it yet. If you compared the two, M&D is wooden, Just like Home is durable plastic; M&D has different toppings, but still four to choose from (same as JLH); the M&D pizza seems to have stronger velcro, but at 75% the price ($15 vs $20), JLH is a great value!

        This is a great playset. My boys who are two and a half have already had a blast playing with it in the first two hours.

        They can "cut" the pizza with the pizza cutter and it really seems like they are cutting it because of the velcro connectors. The "toppings" are really cool too, with their velcro that holds them on. Of course both boys really love the cheese / pepper shakers.

        The food pieces quality is really good - much better than many other play sets. I would definitely recommend this toy - and it's a great value. I would definitely buy again.

          My 3.5 year old loves this toy, and has for about a year! He really uses his imagination with it and even pretends the toppings are something else (ie. pretends mushrooms are pineapples, broccoli is spinach, ect.) in order to fill everyones "pizza order." Love that it comes with cheese and red pepper to "shake" on top. Pieces are very durable. The peel is really nice too - when used properly . . . my son tends to wave it around like a paddle at times!
