I bought this for my 3 year old daughter. She loves the cover (it has sparkles) and it's a fun (big) size. The glittery water color paints harly work at all. The darker colors do OK, but the colors like pink, don't show up on the paper. She loved the activity pages (mazes, cut and paste, hidden pictures, find the differences, etc...), but a few were over her head (pictures to match to letters to figure out the hidden message). She's not much of a doodler, so after she did all the activities she was done with it, and didn't want to use all the blank paper. If you child is artistic she would love it
