I must say i loved this design and pattern but i hate the seat it worked wonders til she was 3-4 months old! then it was hard to buckle and the straps cut in to her so bad plus the straps twist and make it hard to twist back! i have a 5 mth old and shes already to big for this and i have to buy a new one

this carseat is not made for ease! first of all, there are 2 red bottons you have to push on either side of the handle to drop it back to put your baby in the carseat. when you have a baby in your arms or dont have someone to help you, this is really a pain to deal with! the rubber handle will almost rip the skin from your arm when carring it with your child in the seat! the release latch is on the front which faces the seat & is really hard to dig your hand between the seat to realese it & is really hard for my grandmother who keeps her while i work! also, it has a buckle that has to stack on top of each other & then buckles into the other part which is really hard & probably the worst part about this carseat! as far as saftey, it seems to be good(but dont take my word for it!) and this is my first child so im learning alot about what to look for in certian products! now i know what not to buy!

My daughter is now 16lbs at 5 1/2 months old and we still use this seat. She seems to be getting a little tall for it, so we may have to switch soon, but we've loved this seat.
The straps are easy to adjust in order to get her heavy winter coat on underneath them. I just loosen them all the way, strap her in and then tighten them...Simple.
It is a heavy seat, but I prefer to carry a heavy carseat and know that my baby is safe. We've been very happy with this seat!

I got this car seat for my twin girls and it does the job. If I had to pick again, I'd probably go with something else though. As someone has previously mentioned, the straps do twist and it does get annoying. It is a cute car seat though and once you figure out how to loosen up the straps as your child grows, its not bad.

My daughter is 16 pounds and the straps fit her too tight. we also live in the cold so of course with the coat on she is uncomfortable siting in her car seat...Dont buy unless you are using it for a newborn.

FIRST OF ALL THE CAR SEAT IS HEAVY SECOND OF ALL THE STRAPS ARE TOO SMALL ITS A NICE CAR SEAT BUT MY DAUGHTER IS 6 MONTHS AND ITS TOO SMALL FOR HER I CANNOT BUCKLE THE BOTTOM PART BECAUSE THE STRAPS ARE TOO SMALL

I HATE this car seat. I have twin girls that are 4 months old and weigh about 14lbs. The car seat straps are tight and don't think they adjust anymore. The actual buckel between there legs is like 2 inches and my girls practically sit on it. The black insert that has to be stacked before buckeled is plastic and seriously annoying and difficult to get pushed in since the buckel is so low and tight. I don't see where they get 30lbs out of this. I'm a stay and home mom that runs a small home childcare out of my home. I have seen and used several other infant seats and this would have to rate the worst. I also have issues with one of the bases snapping into place. Sometimes I have to wiggle the seat to get it to snap into the base. This makes me nervous. My other HUGE complaint is why anyone would put the car seat release lever on the bottom front of the chair. I have small hands and have to pry them in between the seat and chair to release the car seat from base. The back release is much easier to get to. The only thing i have good to say about the chair is the print/colors. At this point though....Id settle for anything other then this. I plan to switch over to our big girl car seats soon so I don't have to use these anymore. Its a little early but I just dislike these car seats that much.

This is my 3rd Baby Trend infant Carrier. The first was a gift for my 1st child 7 years ago. With the first seat, we were in a pretty bad accident on the freeway & my baby never made a peep! Heavy yes, but the lighter seats just dont "feel" safe (consider it part of your weight training)! Simple to clean, easy to use(even in a 2door). Toys do not fit but an easy remedy is to buy a set of toy rings, attach the toy to the ring and the ring to the triangle. Latching is tricky at first, but now its fun to watch friends & family figure it out!:)With all 3 of my kids, none of which were small babies, we got full use of the seat. Their cries were simply because they wanted to face forward in the car. Consider this: Needing to buy a convertible car seat a little sooner than others have to is well worth the safety of your precious child when they are at their most vulnerable, newborns!

I purchase the carseat due to the color.. its really cute.. BUT my daughter is now 3 months and it is already to small for her. It is bulky to buckle her in when she is wearing pants or something thick.. I dont think she is going to last in this carseat. So just keep in mind depending on your baby size she will need a new carseat at 9 months..

My husband brought this carseat home! We loved it!
I like the handle...makes it easy to carry! Though toys dont really fit! Only the ones with rings work! It is alittle heavy too...but easy to use! LOVE IT!
