I used this cradle in my bedroom for 4 months. It is a great product for the first couple months. It has a nice finish and is roomier than other cradles. I never planned on rocking my son so I didn't care too much for the rocking feature. I just wanted enough room for the baby. The rocking feature is not that great. The cradle has locks on one side (two wheels) and not the other. When rocking, the cradle doesn't stay still. I'd recommend the other Sorelle cradle that glides if you are interested in rocking the baby. Also, you will need to tighten the screws ocassionally or else it will squeek and legs become non-sturdy.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Bought this on another site because they were out. Happy with the color, quality and construction -- much sturdier than the cradles we looked at in the store. Locking mechanism works well, no issues with screws falling out when rocking (another reviewer thought they might, but they won't, it would be a serious liability issue if they did). My only comment would be, if you are wanting to put it in a small space, take measurements first, it's bigger than I expected. Luckily we have just enough extra space in our bedroom for it to not be a problem.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
