This was purchased has a gift and they absolutely are very pleased with the quality of the product. The new parents feel that it will last a long time and the new baby will have many years of using it. He did say that it had numerous parts to put together and does take a great deal of time, but it was well constructed. Looking forward to the visit to be able to see it.

The Crib is beautiful and very sturdy. I loved the attached drawers and open shelves in back. My son is now two and he climbs very easily out of it. The crib is just too high. It is set at it's lowest level and it's too high. Obviously we are now going to convert it, but I would have rather not have to worry about converting because of it being high. So if you tend to be very tall in stature, this is not the crib for you or you will be converting it when your baby is 1. Keep looking. Overall it is nice, that is the only thing I would have changed.

This looks like a lovely crib, and I love the cherry stain. It is not "too red" for me, as others have noted in their reviews. However, we have no idea how well it will work because it arrived damaged. The box was full of holes when it arrived at the house, and when we opened the crib to put it together, we discovered a large crack in the side. When I called, I was informed that it is impossible to simply get one replacement part, and instead we have to return the entire crib and reorder it. To make matters worse, Babies R Us does not have the crib in stock anymore, so we have to wait, potentially weeks, to receive our replacement crib. Meanwhile, I'm getting closer and closer to my due date and would like to have the crib ready for our little one! I hope to be able to post an actual review of this crib someday, but alas, all I can comment on right now is poor customer service and substandard shipping practices.

I bought this bed for my new grandchild, I picked it for durability and for the changing table,that
came with it. When it came to the assembly of the
crib the instructions and all the parts were easy to put together, I was able to do this by myself
so dont be worried if you dont have any help. All
the tools you need come with it. I highly recommend this crib, its sturdy and no matter how big your child is it will last them quite a while.

When my boyfriend and I first saw this crib we fell in love. We ordered it right away! At first we were very pleased. Everyone complimented how beautiful it was and we couldn't wait for our little one to arrive so we could put her in it! As soon as she began standing we notice the finish peels off very easily. I woke up one morning to cherry finish stuck to my daughters fingers and around her mouth. She also was playing in her crib when we turned it into a toddler bed so that she couldn't reach the top part; she leaned back while holding onto the side railing and the wood cracked in half. My daughter fell backwards and the side rail completely broke off. My daughter is a petite little girl and the railing should be sturdy and safe enough for her to hang onto. I am very disappointed and upset that this crib has not been recalled yet!

My husband and I fell in love with this crib after seeing it on display in the local store. I was intimidated at the thought of assembling it ourselves, but it turned out to be quite easy-I was able to do 90% of it by myself. Every piece was labeled so there was no guess work. I think it took us about 4 hours to assemble and was worth every minute.
