Horrible.....not strong and sturdy at all....broke the first time I TRIED to use it so I never even was able to use it. Just get a large S hook or something similar.

I love this hook!! I have two little ones (6 months and 19 months old) and I will just put them into their double stroller and run in to the store to pick up a few things. With the hook I can attach it to the handle bar and have my purse within easy reach (instead of cramming it into the basket underneath of the stroller) and when I leave I can hook my bags on it. Its a inexpensive and really helpful tool that really makes a mommy or daddy's life easier.

I worked for this family that had this attached to their stroller and I loved it! They have had it for 3 years and have never had to replace it (as far as I know). It kept my purse close so that whenever the need arose, I could easily reach my cell phone and the cooler was on there to so, I was able to keep the bottles close at hand. At one point it was carrying my purse, the mom's purse, and a filled shopping bag. This definitely made my job easier and I as I am having a kind of my own now, this was one of the first things I wanted to put on my registry.

I bought one thinking that it looked like a handy item, and the concept is a good one... but the quality of the item is really poor. It would be better to buy an actual carabiner rather than this one due to the product quality.

After two days the latch began to become sticky and is not a pain in the butt to open and close -- let alone get my purse or a smaller diaper bag on there. :(

I live in NYC and use my stroller as a vehicle. That also means I do almost all my shopping with it too. I was given a Mommy Hook as a gift and found that it was terrific for carrying all of my shopping bags. I could even take the hook off the stroller and carry the bags up the stairs to my apartment while still on the hook. Great! However, soon after I got the hook the hinge and clasp stopped working. Constantly falling off the stroller and dropping bags. I purchased another one thinking maybe my previous one had been defective. WIthin 3 weeks the hinge and clasp on my new hook broke. I contacted customer service. They were quite gracious and polite and immediately sent me a replacement. I was very pleased...for a month until the hinge and clasp broke on my THIRD mommy hook. I've given up at this point and am moving on to other products. I'm quite disappointed as this is a great product before it breaks.

I bought the mommy hook as a present for my friend's wife and I guess it seemed like a great idea at the time. Once she used the hook it snapped when carrying some items on the streets of New York. Not impressed more annoyed but I guess it was cheap and not very well made [*], just a bad experience.

After very light use, the hinge broke. We exchanged it for another, only to have the same thing happen again.

This hook is awesome when dealing with a toddler or infant. It can hold your purse and packages if you are out shopping. Especially if you have to carry your child from time to time, it's nice to have your shoulder free from extra weight of your handbag.

We bought the Mommy Hook since our stroller has a small basket underneath. However, the hook had an added use when we found out our twin girls would be coming home on monitors. We were able to clip their monitors right to the stroller handlebar. The hook is lightweight, but holds strong. It holds both monitors (and they are not light) with no problem. The foam part on the hook keeps it from slipping around the the handlebar too.
