We have a large Golden Retriever puppy that was out growning our bed and needed a place to go nearby.
The toddler bed works well for him and is strong enough to hold our beast (over weight limits for bed). It took a while to get it assembled. The Toys R Us site mentioned the side rails were removable - good - only put one on - but the instructions said that both were to be used????
Glad it came with the attachable stickers which we didn't put on. Nice space for dog and got to use old mattress from kids crib that we had laying around.

Bed is nice and study, but the hardware was not easy to put together. Holes didn't match and it took quite a bit of time to put the bed together.

My Son loves Mr Men and when he turned 2 I looked for a big boy bed that would be low enough to the ground and suite him. I was happy to find the Mr Men bed at such a great price. So far we have not had any problems with it at all and he loves it. I dont see him having this bed for more than a couple of years but for the price it is well worth it. I anticipate getting him a bigger and better quality bed when he is about 4 or 5. I would recommend this bed to anyone exspecially a Mr Men and Little Misses fan! it made it a great way for my 2 year old to transition to a bed.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great toddler bed, but the frame was extremely hard to put together. Eventually was successful, but took a lot of effort. It was nearly impossible to line up the screws with the metal holes on the frame.
