            This doll is cute idea, and you can definitely tell its laughing. However it doesn't work half the time. And like all the other reviews said, it does go off at random times. So basically this doll works when you don't want it too, but doesn't work when you want it too. My Daughter liked the doll but would get sad when she couldn't make it laugh. I would say its an okay toy if you get it as a gift, but don't go out and buy it yourself.

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                  I can't tell whether this doll is laughing or crying??? And it goes off whenever it wants - even when no one is near it! And when my daughter wants her to laugh/cry, the doll does nothing.

                  This doll's laugh is for sure going to make you smile. We enjoyed it for about 3 days....then it was super annoying. THEN it would just go off laughing at random times to the point it freaked us out. We put her in the garage and was very happy when her batteries died. However, My 1 1/2 year old LOVED her and still plays with her almost daily. Thankfully she doesn't remember she used to make noise :)

                    The doll is cute and my daughter loves it! Every time it laughs. . . she laughs. However, it is pretty strange. It will start laughing at random even when no one is around. Something as simple as turning out the lights will set it off. Weird.
