Purchased this item so that my husband and I would not have to re-install the base every time we wanted to use a different car. We bought two - one for him and one for my parents, who often watch my son. Installation is just as easy as the base that came with our car seat and placing the car seat on the base is actually easier with this supplemental style (I made my husband switch out my base to this universal style). I am extremely happy with the product and would happily recommend it to anyone who asked.

I have the jogger with car seat. love the base as it comes in and out easily. I'm getting second base for husband's truck. The seat adjust very easy as your baby grows. I also have a graco, and is very difficult to use compared to the baby trend.

This base worked great. We had a babytrend car seat and jogger. We had two bases (one for each car) and used them until my daughter switched to a convertible car seat. It is annoying to read reviews from people who use the car seat / bases incorrectly. When your child reaches a certain height/weight, they need to switch to a convertible car seat. This base never gave us any issues. Also, it latched perfectly into an older car (my husbands) and a new car (mine). Good luck choosing the right car seat for your little one!

Needed an extra base for second care. Didn't want to have to keep moving from car to car. Delivery quick and base fantastic. Although,really tight getting the seat belt into the notches on this one.

Up until my son was about 5 months this base worked fine. It was not so difficult to install and my sons car seat snapped in easy enough but as soon as he turned 5 months and weighed a little bit more the base did not do its job. It would come loose all by itself, my son would literally flop to either side of my car. Numerous times i would look in my rear view mirror and have a heart attack, because he would be on his side in his car seat in the back. It was the worst experience with a base I could have imagined. I would get anxiety just by buckling my son in. Any turns and he would go flying. unless i double buckled him in ( like criss crossed them across each other) he would not stay. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PAYING THE EXTRA MONEY & GETTING A NICER MORE SAFE PRODUCT !!!!!!

Got the base for second vehicle, that way the car seat that is used with the stroller can easily go from car to car without having to move the base from vehicle to vehicle
